Allan J.E. Corrigan - 02/03/2003

Peacefully at his residence on Monday, February 3, 2003 at the age of 68. Beloved father of Jeffrey (Genevieve Roy) of London, England and daughter Elizabeth (Andrew Baillie) of Ottawa. Also survived by four grandchildren, Jack, Paul, Claire and Caroline. Allan will be missed by many friends and his family would like to thank Patricia Floysvik and family for their kindness over the years. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod St., Ottawa on Friday, February 7, 2003 at 5 p.m.

William James Samuel "Bill" Egner - 02/07/2003

Peacefully, at home, after a short illness on Friday, February 7, 2003. Beloved Husband of Betty. Cherished father of Chris ( Caroline ), Matthew ( Shinobu ) and Connie ( Fred Coburn ) . Proud Grampa of Valerie, Samuel, Bridget and Sumika. Loving son of Winnifred and the late Samuel. Dear brother of Patricia ( Tom Wall ) and Lottie ( Chuck Unterman ). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry , 315 MclEod Street , on Sunday, February 9th, fron 2 - 4 and 7 -9pm. Funeral Service will be held at the Metropolitan Bible Church, 453 Bank ( at Gladestone ) on Monday, February 10th at 1pm. Those wishing may make donations to the Metropolitan Bible Church Building Fund. Bill's favourite verse was, " For me to live is Christ and to die is gain."

Pui Lun Fong - 02/09/2003

Fong, Pui Lun In hospital, on Saturday, February 8, 2003. he was predeceased by his wife Mei Yong Fong. He was a loving father to Lau Ha ( Ricky Lam ), So Ha ( Ho Ma ), Yip and Stanley. Loving grandfather of Cecilia, David, Monica and Loletta. He immigrated to Canada from China in 1956 and was joined by his family in 1965. Friends and relatives may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 Mcleod Street, Ottawa on Tuesday, February 11, 2003 from 5 to 8 p.m. and on wednesday from 11 a.m. until service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment Beechwood cemetery.

Geraldine (nee Trowsse) Fournier - 02/12/2003

Entered into her eternal rest Monday evening, February 10, 2003 at the Gatineau Memorial Hospital, Wakefield in her 88th year. Widow of the late Edgar Fournier. Survived by her daughters Diane McGarry (Laird) and Doris Gagn (Frank) and one sister Phoebe Pierce. Will be fondly remembered by five grandchildren, Laine (Susan), Michael (Madeline), Kelly (Bernard), Fran ois (Micheline) and Ad le (Luc) as well as four great-grandchildren, Leah, Jodi, Matthew and Marie-Pier. "Gerry" will be sadly missed by her good friend Russel Blackburn. A memorial Service will be held at the McGarry Memorial Funeral Home , 139 Valley Road, Wakefield, on Thursday February 13 at 11am. Reception to follow. Spring interment Hall's cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Gatineau Memorial Hospital, Wakefield PQ.

Olga Frank (nee Ott) - 02/05/2003

passed away February 5, 2003 at the Carlingview Lodge at the age of 81 years. Olga is survived by her son Andy Frank and her daughter-in-law Helen Crouch as well as her brother Alexander Ott. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest and daughter Helene. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa, Ontario on Saturday, February 8, 2003, from 12 p.m. until the time of service in the chapel at 1 p.m. The family wish to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of the Carlingview Lodge for the excellent care Olga received while she was a resident there.

(nee Shand) Peacefully in hospital on Saturday, February 1, 2003. Beloved wife of the late Adam. Loving sister of Cecilia, David (Millie) and Helen Shand, and predeceased by Charles Shand and Jean Busch. Sister-in-law of Irene Shand. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Lifeling member of Chalmers United Church of Verdun, Quebec. Private cremation. Funeral arrangement in care of the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at Dominion-Chalmers United Church, 355 Cooper Street at O'Connor, Ottawa on Tuesday, February 4, 2003 at 11 a.m.

Harold (Harry) Gordon - 02/06/2003

passed away early on Wednesday February 5, 2003 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife Miriam and his sons Steven (Laurie), Arthur (Mary) and his daughter Elaine (Earl Pludwinski). Mourning Shiva will be held at 32 Cedarhill Drive. He will be missed by his 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his brothers Jack (Adele) and Bob (Fayette) of Hartford, Connecticut.

In Ottawa on Monday, February 10, 2003. Loving husband of Beryl (nee Bregg). Dear father to Shane (Trina), Rick (Cathy), Brian Stephen, and Cheryl Veale. Predeceased by brothers Clarence (the late Anna) and Edison (the late Shirley). Brother to Gertie (the late Stuart McCabe), Gladys Gateley, and Marjorie (the late Burns McIntyre). Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend special thanks to the wonderful care provided by the nurses and staff of the Ottawa General Hospital Dialysis Unit and 7 North West, as well as the members of the Victoria Order of Nurses. Family and friends will be received at Hulse, Playfair & McGarry Funeral Home, 150 Woodroffe Avenue, Ottawa on Wednesday, February 12th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment at the Capital Memorial Gardens following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation will be appreciated.

Devoted father to Rick (Susan), Cindy (Paul Hobbs), Joanne (Phil Hadke) and Karen (Stacy Savage). Proud and much-loved Grampa to Evan and Kathryn Hall, David and Christopher Hobbs and Andrew Hadke. Dear brother of the late Helen Paterson, Lorne of Smiths Falls and David (Lynn) of Washington, DC. Loving Uncle Al to many nieces and nephews. Mr. Canada Day to his friends and neighbours on Redpine Drive and Keewatin Crescent. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, on Friday, February 7th, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, February 8th at a11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Suk Yuen (nee Kung) Hum - 02/11/2003

Peacefully at home on Monday February 10th, 2003 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Sue Chow "Henry". Loving mother of Leonard (Valerie), Albert (Nicole) and Susan Chan. Cherished grandmother of Alex, Jeffrey and Christopher. She will be sadly missed by her brother-in-law Robert (Susan) and their sons Stanley and David, as well as by many other nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315 McLeod Street at O'Connor on Wednesday February 12 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., on Thursday February 13 from 2 to 9 p.m. and on Friday February 14 from 10 a.m. until Service time in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Pinecrest cemetery.
