MONAGHAN (Anderson), Carolyn - In her 54th year, on Dec. 5, 2006, peacefully and surrounded by her family, at Hamilton General Hospital. Treasured wife of John, beloved mother of Colin and MeAghan Anderson (Fonthill) devoted sister of Lorraine Baker (Niagara Falls) and Sherry (Greg) Biggar (Tilsonburg), dear stepmother of Laura (Scott) Stewart (Thorold), Stephen Monaghan (London, Ont) and step grandmother of Jason Stewart; dear sister- in-law of Joanne Mitchell ( Rescue, California). Also survived by 5 nieces and nephews. Carolyn's career as a Registered X-ray and Ultrasound Technologist was spent mainly in Niagara, but also included assignments in Whitehorse, Yukon and in Newport, Wales. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Future Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family. A celebration of the life of this unique and wonderful lady will be held for family, friends , and coworkers at Thorold Fire Hall, 16 Towpath, on Dec. 15 at 7 p.m.

WILSON, Mildred Violet ~ passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Bella Senior Residence, Chippawa on Monday, December 4, 2006 in her 97th year. Loving wife of the late Donald Wilson (1985). Cherished mother of Betty Bolus, Gerry and Joan Wilson, Clair and Joan Wilson, Holly and Victor Dirksen and Wendy and Barry Walker. Special Gram to 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Mildred will be missed by her special friend Marie. Legault, Geraldine (Gerry) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Gerry Legault on November 27th 2006 in Fort Saskatchewan Alberta. Gerry was born February 10th 1939 and grew up in Porcupine Ontario. She went on to live in many different cities but settled into retirement in the Fort. Gerry is survived by her husband Fern of Fort Saskatchewan, daughters Shirley Legault of Calgary, Cindy Slongo(Ted) of Thunder Bay, Terry Legault of Calgary, Grandchildren Ben Legault of Calgary, Meghan Amy & Matt Slongo of Thunder Bay, Melissa Gylichiuk, Ashley Oberhamer of Calgary. Mother Evelyn Hayes of South Porcupine, brother Roger Hayes of B.C. Sisters Jen Legault (Merv Schultz) of South Porcupine, Christine Nickerson of Ridgeway, Yvonne Ingram of Oshawa and Uncle Bill Beauchamp(Shirley) of Thunder Bay. NOLL, Glenn - 1936-2006 - The family of Glenn Noll is saddened to announce his death on Dec.06/06 at Timmins and District Hospital in his 71st year. He is predeceased by his parents Charles & Gladys, and brother Charles. Glenn is survived by his wife Daphne and stepsons James & Gerry Kerr and was also grandfather to Klade & Maggi-Lee whom they affectionally called Dub-Dub. Glenn was an employee of Kidd Creek Mine site for a number of years, and also a member of Golden Beaver Masonic Lodge and Timmins Shrine Club. We sincerely appreciate the hard work and compassion of all the Doctors and staff involved with Glenn's long struggle with his illness. Loving father of three daughters: Elaine (Mrs. Gus Cotter) whom we lost to illness in 2005; Donna (Mrs. Louis Gagno) of Wainfleet; and Bonnie (Mrs. Gary Puhl) of Welland. Proud grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 8. Dear brother of Audrey (Mrs. Jack McLaren) of Renfrew. He will be sadly missed by Velma's sisters: Jessie Brown and Verna Brown of St. Catharines and Corienne (Mrs. Paul Bart) of Dundas, and sister-in-law Jean Brown, widow of the late Howard Brown, and their families. He was predeceased by his first wife Vera (Erion) Ferrell (1984), daughter Elaine and darling great-grandson, baby Ty Cotter (2005). Also survived by two sisters in Italy Maria and Anna, and Giovanna of Australia. Iolanda is predeceased by her parents Michele and Regina Marino, brother Giuseppe and sister Emilia. Iolanda will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Iolanda retired from the Hotel Dieu Hospital after 21 years of employment. Predeceased by parents Margaret and James Robinson of Winnipeg. A mechanical engineer, Clarke was employed for many years by Babcock and Wilcox in Cambridge, and Foster Wheeler in St. Catharines. ROSE, Lynda May - Lynda Rose died at home on December 7,2006, at the age of sixty-two. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Greg Sass; her daughters - Wendi Wilhelm, Deb McCann, and Jenn Wilhelm and their partners; her grandchildren - Jenny, Phillipe, Angelo, Shelyn, Jacquie, and Jesse; as well as her sisters, June Rose and Heather Rose and their husbands. Lynda's strength, wisdom and positive thinking inspired all who knew her. Her deep caring and compassion for family, friends, foster children, clients, colleagues, the community and all living things touched many hearts. A part of her is alive in each of these hearts she so lovingly affected. We were transformed as we grew knowing her. The family would like to especially thank Elizabeth Salm, Cindy Van Halderen of Toronto CCAC, and Doctors Arvanitis and Cellarius of the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care for providing excellent hospice care to Lynda. You and we made her comfortable and helped her to live fully to the end. Lynda died as she had lived - unflinching, calm, full of grace, always true to her values, and still concerned for the well-being of those whom she loved.
