Born in Koodijarve, Estonia, Mrs. Jarv emigrated to Canada in 1950. She was an avid gardener who loved to grow flowers, nurturing them to full bloom. She also loved the sauna in her cottage at Kenogami and enjoyed its soul replenishing effects.
