RYBIAK, Joseph Julian - At Welland Hospital on Thursday February 15th, 2007. Joseph Julian Rybiak of Fenwick in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Sophia Rybiak for 62 years. Dear father of Paul Rybiak (Millie), Richard Rybiak (Wieske), George Rybiak (Christina), Barbara Rybiak, Martin Rybiak (Linda) and predeceased by a son Christopher Rybiak. Dear father-in-law of Brenda. Dear grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Joseph was a veteran of W.W.II British Army Polish Division and served in the Middle East. He was a professional engineer who worked in Canada, Europe and Trinidad. he was a strong supporter of social causes who valued family, education and service to country. Cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will be held at St. Anns Catholic Church, Fenwick on Monday February 19, 2007 at 11 a.m. Memorial tributes to St. Anns Church , Welland Hospital or Brock University. STEFANOVICH, Dusan “Danny” - Peacefully passed away on February 13, 2007 at Extendicare in St. Catharines, at the age of 85 years. Loving husband of the late Elizabeth Stefanovich (1991). Loving father and friend of Al Stefanovich (Janene). Survived by his grandchildren, Derek Stefanovich and Taylor and Jordanne McGee; step-daughters, Sandra MacLean (Rene), and Dorothy Armstrong (Bill); step- grandchildren, Kimberly, Glen, Robin, Heather, Cathy, Roy, and Richard; brother, Dragamir Stefanovich (Marie-Claude) and sister Dragica Stefanovich; nephews, Alexander, Frederick and Stephan. Dusan will be sadly missed by his loving companion Milica Todorovic. Family will receive friends at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Thursday and Friday evenings from 7-9 o'clock. BUFFAM, Harold E. - Peacefully at Lanark Lodge, Perth on Thursday, February 15th, 2007, Harold E. Buffam (retired prominent businessman in Perth area, 20 year associate of Gale Real Estate, 60 year member of the Masonic Order and the Shrine, faithful servant for many years to St. Paul's United Church and dedicated member for many years of the Perth Curling Club) at the age of 93. Harold was predeceased in March 2006 by his beloved wife Erma E. (Moss) Buffam and his siblings Greta Brake, Cecil, Clifford and Merle Buffam and Muriel Ward; he will be sadly missed by his numerous nieces, nephews, their families and friends in the Perth area. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth, Tuesday, February 20th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held in Elmwood cemetery followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Robert William Christopherson

CHRISTOPHERSON, Robert William - Peacefully, at Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 in his 85th year. Son of the late Robert Louis and Charlotte Christopherson and brother of the late Betty Grayson. Cherished husband of Eleanor Muriel, father of Robert Campbell Christopherson of Toronto and Susan Jane Christopherson of Ottawa. Lovingly remembered by his five grandchildren and two great grandchildren, five nieces and other close family members. In keeping with his wishes cremation was immediate. A remembrance gathering of family and friends will be held at Fort Frontenac Officer's Mess, 317 Ontario Street, Kingston, Ontario on Saturday, February 24th, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army or a charity of choice.

DE JAGER, NATHAN SALOMON THEO (Ted), B.Sc., M.D., M.C.F.P. (C) - In his 64th year surrounded with love, went home in glory, to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 15th, 2007. Born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, March 13th, 1943. Devoted and beloved husband of the late Henderika (Ria) Wiersema. Much loved son of the late Pieter Gerard and Pieternella de Jager. Adored, cherished and respected father of Peter Salomon Christopher de Jager, Theo Hendrick Simon de Jager, and Femma Miriam Anna de Jager. Survived by sister and brother-in-law Jannie and Harry Boers and extended family in The Netherlands. He will also be deeply missed by Robert Nacevicius and Teresa O'Brien. Those of you who knew him well know him by his devotion to his family, his selfless acts of generosity and honesty, and his absolute willingness to always help others. Nathan is resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, Cataraqui Chapel, 1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, Ontario from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Tuesday February 20th, 2007. Funeral and memorial service dedicated to his caring and giving life to be held at the same address, on Wednesday February 21st, 2007 at 1:30 pm. There will be a private family interment following the service, and then a reception to follow. The former Lillian Smith, at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Guy Grigsby. Cherished mother of Judi Perreault and her husband John of Kingston. Grandma will be sadly missed by her grandsons Matthew and David. A heartfelt appreciation to Jean, Marg, Vic and the staff of Joyce Faye Terrace at Helen Henderson Care Centre, for their loving friendship and support. He will be sadly missed and forever cherished by his many grandchildren, step- grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Gwen Benoit (Gilles), Greg Hicks, Sara Lytle (Mike), Jason, Owen (Carilee) and Donalda Anne Tryon and great grandchildren Leah, Ashton, Dylan, Beau, Stephanie, Teisha, T.C., Imogene, Bram and Kaitlyn and many nieces and nephews. She lived in Sudbury and later Ottawa and lived many years in Sharbot Lake. She was a member of the Napanee Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. MCCONNELL, Kimberley Ann (Kim) - Peacefully at home on Friday, February 16, 2007 at age 44, surrounded by friends and family, after a valiant and courageous battle with cancer. She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband, Edward Smith, and her much loved daughters Maegan McConnell and Emma Maingot, and her stepdaughter Abby Smith and stepson Jordan Smith. She is survived by her parents, Robert and Donna Morrison and her sister Lynda, and her mother-in-law and best friend, Maureen McConnell and mother-in-law Shirley Tartick. Predeceased by her first husband Daniel McConnell, and his father, James McConnell. She was loved so much by all her many, many friends; she will be deeply missed. METZLER, Anna Hazel, nee Nuttall - Peacefully at Trillium Ridge, in Kingston, on Thursday, February 15, 2007, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Harold Metzler, with whom she founded Metzler Business School in 1940. Dear mother of David (Marlene), Kingston, Anne (Stephen Simmering), Ottawa, and Richard (Dianne). Devoted grandmother of Susanne Hall, Patricia Elliott, Robert Metzler, William Simmering, Michael Simmering, Mary Simmering, John Metzler and Luke Metzler. Also survived by her sister, Doris McConnell, Kingston, and by six great- grandchildren. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Boulevard) Kingston, on Monday, February 19, 2007 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. with the Reverend David Iverson officiating. SEIFERT, Richard - Richard peacefully passed away at the Kingston General Hospital on February 15, 2007 with his loving wife of 52 years Margot at his side. Cherished father to Stefan his wife Kathy, and Michael. Richard will be missed by his sisters Edith, Elke her husband Guenter and his brother Wolfgang and his wife Rita. Richard was a professional civil engineer and project manager with over 35 years experience, overseeing various major construction projects in Canada and worldwide. Daughter of the late Jules and of the late Josephine (née Vaillancourt) Ethier. Wife of the late Théodore Levac. Cherished mother of Jean-Claude of Sturgeon Falls, Louise of Quebec, Michel (Lise) of Val Thérèse, Pauline (Roger) of Sturgeon Falls, Francoise Monette (Marc) of Azilda, Pierrette Kollar (John) of Sudbury, Diane Delorme (Normand) of Verner. Predeceased by her son Gilbert (2000) (Cécile) of Val Thérèse and by her daughter Marguerite (2005). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
