Richard J. Stoner “Dick” passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Sunday December 7, 2008, at the age of 68. Dick is survived by his wife Helen, of 47 years, his children Donna (Joe) Fitzsimmons, Bill (Donna) Stoner, Rick Stoner (Anna), Amanda Stoner (Gabe) and Kim Burton, Grandchildren Bill Jr., James, Shane, Nick, Katie, Robert, Misty, Billy and Tina, Great-grandchildren Jacob, Elizabeth and Logan. Suddenly after a brief illness, on Sunday December 30th 2012 at the age of 79. Pre-deceased by her husband Raymond with whom she shared 31 years of marriage. Cherished sister to Arthur (Doreen) Dye, Leslie (Kerry) Dye and Christine (Allan) Taylor. Pre-deceased by her brother James Dye (1999) survived by his wife Shirley Dye. Marilyn will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Loving mother of Lynda Matthews and Nanci Virginillo (Tim Tee). Survived by her sister Ida Ercoli and sister-in-law Helen Lanza.
Predeceased by her brothers Joe and Jim and sister Mary, and son-in-law Craig Matthews. Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews.
In her career, Adele owned Campbell Glass, and upon retiring donated her time to both Hamilton Opera and Theatre Aquarius.
At Adele’s request, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to BAY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1010 Botanical Drive (across from Bayview cemetery & Crematorium) BURLINGTON (905.527.0405). A private family gathering will take place.
