Today we lost a loving father and good friend, peacefully passing in the early hours of Tuesday, January 25, 2011.
Great Dad and best friend to Rob (Angelique) and Ben (Beth), along with their mother Kathy (Tony). Beloved son of Margaret Powell.
Brother of Mary Kaye (Ron) Bush and twin brother of Bill (Lorna). Predeceased by his Dad, William and his sister, Eleanor McCaan. Robert will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, and by his very good friends Marianne and Eva.
He was a caring and funny man with many good friends, always with a joke to tell. Robert was an avid golfer, loved playing tennis, and going fishing with his family. He will be missed deeply.

Loving father of Debbie Pivonka and Ray Warburton, John and his wife Christine Robson, and Kelly and her husband Dave Carte. Dear grandfather of Jennifer Pivonka, Emily, Brian and Laura Robson and Allen Carte. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Verna Robson of Owen Sound and his son-in-law Joseph Pivonka. Survived by his sister Joan Byars of Owen Sound. Will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Ron was a retired 40 year employee of Stelco.

Peacefully, in her sleep, on Wednesday, January 26, 2011, in her 88th year.
Will be missed by her loving husband of 65 years, Bernard Sardo.
Forever missed by her devoted daughter, Mary Ann Marcotte, and joins her son, Charles Sardo.
Caring Nana to Carrie Lynn (Jason), Bridgette (Jeremy), and Richard (Tanya), and Great Nana to Chantal and Ethan.
Survived by her sister Stevie and her sister in law Mona, as well as her Aunt Jenny, Uncle Jack, and Aunt Dot.

Never losing his sense of humour during his battle with cancer, John peacefully passed away on Monday, January 31, 2011, at the age of 80. Dear husband of Jan for 56 years. Dear father of John (Jody), Kelly, Jefferson and Paul. Loving father-in-law of Janice, Monica and Stacey – each his favourite daughter-in-law and father-in-law of Randy. Dear “Poppa Hug” of Lindsey, Tyler, Matthew (Lindsay), Allison, Cody and the “Bunnies” Jessie and Abbi. Will be sadly missed by his brother Otis (Val), sister Cynthia (Don), sister-in-law Merran, brother-in-law Neil (Esther) and predeceased by his sister Mary. John was the Golf Professional at Burlington Golf & Country Club from 1960 - 1992 and President of the Canadian Professional Golfer’s Association from 1973-1974. Tragically, Jackie was taken from us early in the morning of Thursday, February 3rd, 2011, and now comfortably rests with the angels above.
Loving wife and best friend now and forever to her husband Rick.
Jackie is loved by her two adoring daughters Larissa Leon (Chad) and Taylor Conlin (Rob). Proudest and most loving Nana to Dane, Briar and Aidry Leigh.
Jackie was the top of the family tree, and is supported by her father, Wilf Rettinger, step mother Arlene and extended family, and her mother, Loretta Rettinger. She is the eldest of her four siblings, Janice (Mike), Joanne (Bill), Jim (Kim), Judi (Mike), loving aunt to Matthew, Lauren, Jake, Hannah, and sister-in-law to Cheryl and Steve Pauls and their family.
To those who knew Jackie, she is now stitching and crafting in a quieter place, with tender thoughts of her loving husband Rick blanketing her.
