Peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Haig Bradley. Loving mother of the late Terry (Theresa), Garry (Patricia), Lyn (Billy Austin) and the late Randy (Kathy). Cherished grandmother of Danny, Joanne, Mark, Scott, Craig, Grant, William, Robyn, Nadine and Graeme, and great-grandmother of Jeremy, Joshua, Jacob and Logan. Predeceased by her sister Beverly Allison. Lenore will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Rd. (at Roosevelt Ave) on Monday, November 8, 2010 from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service in the chapel at 12 noon. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Peacefully in hospital on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her loving husband Lawrence and beloved granddaughter Corrie. Dear mother of David, Carole Page (Bruce), Terry, Dwight (Louise) and Nancy Fecteau (Guy). She will be lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren. She was a proud great grandmother of 7. In honour of her wishes a private funeral will be held. Peacefully at home on Sunday, November 7, 2010, aged 56 years. Diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s (ALS) disease in 1999 Art refused to let the disease defeat his passion for life. He lived life to the fullest, surrounded each day by family and friends. Beloved husband of Elaine Blinn. Loving father of Jessica and Mitchell. Dear son of Jean Bird and the late Gordon Bird. Brother of Graham (Cynthia) and Margie (Ian Morrice). Fondly remembered as Uncle Artie by his nieces and nephews. Stauffer, Diane
Diane Stauffer of Ottawa, Ontario died peacefully in her sleep, following a brief illness. She was 76 years old. Born in Owen Sound, Ontario on June 13, 1934, Diane was the first child of Jack Stauffer, an engineer, ham radio enthusiast and radar expert during World War II; and Beatrice Torrance, an avid gardener, writer, and authority on Ernest Hemingway. Diane spent her early years in Stratford and Galt. A homemaker and administrative assistant for most of her life, Diane settled in Ottawa. At the time of her death, she was retired from the Federal civil service (Canada Revenue Agency). Throughout her life, Diane enjoyed travel, music and nature, although she was happiest when volunteering for charities who appreciated her commitment to the less fortunate. She worked tirelessly for the Jerry Lewis Telethon and Canadian Blood Services, among others. Diane was predeceased by her first husband, her parents, and younger sister, Joan. A second former husband, Gerald Ouderkirk of Florida, survives her. She is also survived by her only child, Gordon Ouderkirk and his wife Claudiane of Chelsea, Quebec. Other survivors include sister Dr. Valorie Gilbert (Myron) of Stamford, CT.; nephew Dr. Jeremy Gilbert (Dr. Shawna) of Cleveland Heights, OH., and nephew Ben Gilbert of Brooklyn, NY., and brother Ian Stauffer (Catherine) of Ottawa, nephew Thomas Stauffer of Vernon,BC and niece Emma Stauffer of Nepean, Ontario.Dear friend of Allen Davies of South Australia. A private family service was held. Those wishing to make memorial donations are asked to consider the International Al Jolson Society.

Sauve, Jean (nee Flansbury)
August 10, 1930 - November 09, 2010
In hospital on Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Ted. She will be sadly missed by her children Brenda Allston (Bruce), Rick Sauvé (Kelly), grandchildren David Allston (Amy), Andrew Allston (Heather) and Dave Sauvé and great-grandson Xavier Allston. Predeceased by her brother Bernard Flansbury. Special thanks to Drs. Rice, Feiner and Vyvey as well as the staff of the 3rd and 5th floors of the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus for their exceptional care. As per Jean’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held at Notre Dame cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Multiple Sclerosis (Research) or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 age 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Albert Dupuis. Special best friend for 18 years of Jean Guy Larocque. Raymond, Luc
passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the age of 55. Cherished partner of Vicki Marcou. Beloved son of the late Lilianne Normand, of Lachute, QC, and Jean-Paul Raymond (Marianne), of Richmond, ON. Dear brother of Johanne Raymond, of Kemptville, Paul Raymond (Lisa Purdy), of Kanata, and Danielle Dubois (Ray), of Edmonton. Much loved uncle of the late Justin, Krista, Kaila, Connor and Elle. Luc will be missed by brother-in-law Gord Laviolette as well as many cousins and extended family. Special thanks to Tom and Bernie for being such wonderful friends, to the 5th floor staff of Saint-Vincent Hospital for many years of outstanding care, and finally to the ICU staff of the Ottawa Civic Hospital for their dedication and compassion. Visitation will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.), Nepean, on Monday, November, 15, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. A celebration of Luc’s life will be held in the chapel on Monday at 4:00 p.m. Interment and committal service St. Philip’s Catholic cemetery , Richmond on Tuesday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, 1826 Woodward Dr, Ottawa, ON, K2C 0P7, or the Saint-Vincent Hospital, c/o the Bruyère Foundation, 43 Bruyère St, Ottawa, ON, K1N 5C8.

Scott, Lois
Born 1917 in the Corkstown Road area of Ottawa, she died peacefully at the Garden Terrace nursing home in Kanata on Wednesday, November 10, 2010. Lois Mary Margaret Brennan, eldest daughter of John Brennan and Amelia O’Grady. She married her beloved husband of 58 years, the late Edmund Scott of Corkery, on September 1, 1943 at St. Isidore Church, South March She was a proud and loving mother to nine children and endured the untimely deaths and unforgettable reality of burying four: Paul at birth, Mary at age 3, Martha at age 12, and Timothy at age 39. Left to mourn are Sheila, Lois (Gunter), Barbara, Rev. Fr. Frank Scott, Pastor of St. Martin de Porres Parish, Mark and daughters-in-law Beth and Donna. She leaves grandchildren Colleen, John, Greg, Geoff, Blair and Blake, along with one great grandchild Timothy. Predeceased by sister Rita and brother Mervin. She will always be remembered for her motherly care, strong will and faith, love for family and her commitment to the church community and CWL. Funeral liturgy will take place Saturday, November 13th at 11am at St. Michael Church, Corkery with visitation prior to the funeral beginning at 9:30am at the church. Interment in the parish cemetery , followed by a reception. Special Thanks goes out to the care and compassion shown by the staff of Garden Terrace. Peacefully on November 12, 2010 in her 82nd year. Lillian Rollow, dear daughter of the the late Welland and Lowry. Loving mother of Randy and Lori. Cherished grandmother of Jody. Predeceased by sisters Mary, Nancy and Carrie and brother Edgar. Fondly missed by nieces, nephews and friends. Many thanks to the staff at Forest Hill Long Term Facility. Cundell, Leslie Gilbert
1939-2010
At last reunited with his beloved wife Beverley on November 10, 2010. Leslie will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his daughters Shirley Anne and her husband Raji and Kathy and her husband Jacques. He will be forever cherished by his grandchildren Mikaël, Jordan, Petra and Raina and by his cherished and devoted friend Pauline. Leslie will always be remembered by his extended family and friends.
