Peacefully, after a short illness on Monday, January 1, 2001 at Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 76. Lola (nee Stinson) formerly of Seagrave, beloved wife of the late Morley Keith Bruce. Loved mother of Lloyd Bruce and his wife Sheila (deceased) of St. Catharines, Donna Latreille and Don Harper of Scugog Island, Robert (Bob) Bruce and his wife Ellen of Seagrave, and Joyce and her husband Doug Larmer of Greenbank. Lola will also be missed by her grandchildren Tim, Tanya, Deanna, Amy, Matthew, Jessica, James and Jordan, her great grandchildren Jessica and Ryan and her son-in-law Guy Latreille. Dear sister of Marion MacKinnon, and the late Orval and Roy Stinson. Peacefully in her sleep, in Oshawa, on Monday, January 1, 2001, at the age of 87. Daughter of the late Charles and Mabel Hart. Survived by her nieces Jean Florence Hart of Newcastle and Otilia V. Died peacefully at home January 1st, 2001. Beloved husband of Shirley. Youngest son of Loretta and Edward McVeigh (deceased). Sadly missed by brother Gerrard and sister Theresa. Pre-deceased by sister Margaret (Cozlowsky), brothers Raphael, Francis, Frederick and Edward. John was loved by his brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends, for his humour and sense of style. 32 year employee of Colgate-Palmolive - Salesman of the Year Award 1970. He fought a long, lengthy battle with many illnesses always with humour and (his) "Shirl" by his side. At John's request, he has been cremated. Proud grandmother of Jackie, Kelly, Oliver, and Andrea, and very proud great grandmother of Kendall, Luke, Robbie, Tyler, and Dennis. Mrs. Eschenlor has been a retired school teacher for many years. Throughout her career she had become a very loved and respected teacher and colleague influencing many lives in a positive manner.
