Dear brother of Roslyn, Marina, Andy & Kriss. Loved uncle of Cera, Kyle, Jessica, Austin & Becky. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with Mass of Christian Burial in The Church of St. Gregory the Great on Thursday March 29, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. Internment Thornton cemetery. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Memorial donations to the Michael Warner Trust Fund would be appreciated. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.

Also survived by one sister Lillian Turriff of Toronto and predeceased by Anne York, Florence LeMay, Edith Lane, and Albert Allard. Dear grandmother of Steven Dyck and his wife Lillian, Terrence Dyck, Sandra Bailey and her husband Darryl, Lori Dyck, Matthew Dyck, Noel Bellas, Jonathon Bellas, Michael Stephenson, Melissa Harvey, Angela Harvey, great grandmother of Zaccary Dyck, MacKenzie Bailey, Mitchell Bailey, Montanna Robinson. Mrs. Dyck will be resting at the W.C. Town Funeral Chapel 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby Tuesday 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Service in the Chapel Wednesday at 10am. Followed by burial Belleville cemetery Wednesday afternoon.

It is with great sadness the family of Ronald K. Godfrey announces his passing on Sunday March 25th, 2001 aged 53 yrs. Beloved husband of Sylvia. Dear father of Penny, Debbie, & Kevin. Loving step-father of Lisa & Lynn. Will be sadly missed by his 4 grandchildren. Cherished son of Jean & the late Ken Godfrey. Survived by his special four legged friend "Tipper". SUTHERLAND, Patricia Gayle -
passed away Sunday, March 25th, 2001. In celebration of a life well lived. Eight years and three major surgeries after a diagnosis of cancer, Gayle's eternal spirit left her mortal body. Gayle looked upon this as an early graduation from mortality to immortality, and though sad to leave behind family and friends, looked forward to being freed from sickness and the exciting new life she would begin in her Heavenly Father's Kingdom. Gayle wants family and friends to know she will always be near them in spirit. She leaves behind husband Rick; mother Rose Green (wife of W. I. Green who died in 1994), sister Heather Green, son Norman Brennan and wife Vicki, grandchildren Aaron and Christina, nieces Emma and Frances Green, nephew Paul Calheiros, sister Karen Calheiros and husband Max, brother Bill and wife Michelle. Gayle was a young 57 years old and had just celebrated her 22nd wedding anniversary December 2000. She felt that her family was her greatest treasure on this earth. A memorial service for her is to be held at the chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on the south west corner of Thornton Rd. N. and Rossland Rd. in Oshawa at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2001.

TAPSCOTT, Norman John -
Peacefully, at the Lakeridge Health Centre, Port Perry on Sunday, March 25, 2001, in his 80th year. Norman, beloved husband of Betty (nee Thomas). Proud and loving father of Rev. John and his wife Adelaide of Mississauga, Ann and her husband Edward Watson of Uxbridge. Loving grandpa of Julie Tapscott and Joshua Watson. Dear brother of Maurice and his wife Marydale, Howard and his wife Margaret. Predeceased by sister Phyllis and her husband Milne Freeman. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. HICKMAN, Derek -
December 12, 1922, Manchester, England - March 24, 2001, Peterborough, Canada. Served in the R.A.F. 1942-1946, which included training in Canada. Emigrated to Canada following the war with his employer Crittle's which became Pilkington's Glass where he enjoyed a successful career to his retirement. Together with Peggy raised his family in Ajax before moving to the Peterborough area. Loved and missed by his wife Peggy, daughters Dianne, Janette, and Rosalind, sister Rosemary, and grandchildren Mark, Michelle, Bryan, Jason, Daniel, and David. A private memorial service was held at the Highland Park Chapel. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or St. James Anglican Church, Emily, R.R. 2 Peterborough, K9J 6X3
