passed away Sunday, March 25th, 2001. In celebration of a life well lived. Eight years and three major surgeries after a diagnosis of cancer, Gayle's eternal spirit left her mortal body. Gayle looked upon this as an early graduation from mortality to immortality, and though sad to leave behind family and friends, looked forward to being freed from sickness and the exciting new life she would begin in her Heavenly Father's Kingdom. Gayle wants family and friends to know she will always be near them in spirit. She leaves behind husband Rick; mother Rose Green (wife of W. I. Green who died in 1994), sister Heather Green, son Norman Brennan and wife Vicki, grandchildren Aaron and Christina, nieces Emma and Frances Green, nephew Paul Calheiros, sister Karen Calheiros and husband Max, brother Bill and wife Michelle. Gayle was a young 57 years old and had just celebrated her 22nd wedding anniversary December 2000. She felt that her family was her greatest treasure on this earth. A memorial service for her is to be held at the chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on the south west corner of Thornton Rd. N. and Rossland Rd. in Oshawa at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2001.

Emigrated to Canada following the war with his employer Crittle's which became Pilkington's Glass where he enjoyed a successful career to his retirement. Together with Peggy raised his family in Ajax before moving to the Peterborough area. Loved and missed by his wife Peggy, daughters Dianne, Janette, and Rosalind, sister Rosemary, and grandchildren Mark, Michelle, Bryan, Jason, Daniel, and David.
