Suddenly, with her family, on Sunday, April 15, 2001. Sandy (nee Hill) in her 58th year. Beloved wife and best friend of 38 years to Jack. Loving and devoted mom of Greg and his wife Shirleyann, Lance, Chad and his wife Terrill, and Jenni and her husband Tony Romano. Cherished grandma of Mitchell, Ryan, Evan and Jacob. Loving daughter of Norrine and the late Wilmot Hill, and much loved daughter-in-law of Jean Bell and the late Ross Redshaw. Dear sister of Barb and Bob Tran, and Frank and Sandy Hill. Sister-in-law of Wayne and Gail Redshaw, Donna Wideman and Al Jensen, Ted Redshaw and Patty Patchett. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Forever in the hearts of her loving family and good friends. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Service at Claremont United Church on Wednesday, April 18, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Interment - Claremont Union cemetery. Should family and friends so desire, donations to Crohn's and Colitis Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

REYNOLDS, Keith Norman -
Peacefully passed away on April 15, 2001 at the Centenary Hospital in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Joy. Loving father of Kathy (Tom Hodgson) and Ken Motton (Robyn). Cherished grandfather to Daryl, Alyson and Rachel. Also will be sadly missed by his brother Dennis and niece Jan from Cardiff, Wales and other family and friends. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2001. Chapel service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on April 18, 2001. Cremation. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

Peacefully, on Sunday, April 15, 2001 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in his 86th year. Norman, beloved husband of Marjorie. Loved father of Elizabeth and her husband Sam Benjamin, Denton Robinson, Margaret and her husband Alfred McPherson, Jon Robinson and Desmond Robinson. Loving grandfather and great-grandfather. Brother of Sydney Robinson, Leonie Woodstock, Manley Robinson and Gwen Robinson. A Memorial Service be held in the chapel of the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King St. East, Oshawa on Saturday, April 21st at 3 p.m. Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.

(25 Year Employee of General Motors). passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa on Friday, April 13th, 2001, at the age of 52. Father of Paula and Brian and grandfather of Rae-Anne and Kennedy, Alexis and Kaiya. Survived by his sisters Janice Pavan and Debbie Crowder, his brothers Terry Landry and John Bessie and his mother Anne Landry. Predeceased by his father John Bessie and step-father Eloi Landry and step-mother Nora Pasquale. Relatives and friends were received at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE “Thornton Chapel” 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Saturday, April 14th from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, April 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A complete Funeral Service was held in the Chapel on Monday, April 16th at 1:00 p.m. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Marie; Chaplain of Burwash Farm, Sudbury; Rector of Church of the Resurrection, Sudbury, St. John the Evangelist Church, New Liskeard, Emsdale Church, Parry Sound District; Honourary Assistant of Church of Good Shepherd, Oshawa; Padre of Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 637, Oshawa). On Friday, April 13, 2001, at Lakeridge Health Corp., Bowmanville, The Reverend B. Rodney Brazill, son of the late Rev. and Mrs. C. C. Brazill. Sadly missed by Betty and children Linda and her husband Uwe Meyermann, Douglas and his wife Rose, Sharon Brazill and her fiance Kevin Skerritt, and Mike and his wife Colleen. Dear grandfather of Kylie, Jake, Ryan, Jayme, Sasha, Kirsten, Aidan and McKenna. Survived by brothers John and his wife Gail of Toronto, Hartland and his late wife Anne of London, and by sisters Barbara and her husband Harrell Brankley of Virginia, Isabel and her husband the Rev. Canon John Paterson-Smyth of Toronto. Long time member Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 43, Double Inductee Oshawa Sports Hall of Fame. It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Wes, peacefully, after lengthy illness, on Friday, April 13, 2001 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 77. Beloved husband of the late Jean Keeler. Dear father of Cathy and her husband David, Rick and his wife Janet, Brad and his wife Gill and Tracey and her husband John. MAYNE, Martha Naomi -
passed away at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Friday, April l3th, 2001 in her 83rd year. Dearly loved wife of the late Clifford “Taff” Mayne. Survive by her sisters Helen Vipond of Toronto and Marjorie Gray of Oshawa and her brothers Tim Vipond and his wife a Wilda, Haliburton, and Don “Sully” Vipond and his wife Gloria of Brooklin. Predeceased by Luther, Lewis nephews and close friends. Cremation has taken place, a private celebration of Martha’s life was held from MEMORIAL CHAPEL BROOKLIN (905-655-3662) 79 Baldwin Street Brooklin Village, with interment at GROVESIDE cemetery , Brooklin. If desired, memorial donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.

McLEOD, Dorothy L. (Dot) -
On Friday, March 13, 2001, Dot McLeod passed away at the Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre, Edmonton, Alberta, after a long struggle with Alzheimers. Dot was predeceased by her loving sister, Audrey McLeod, of Toronto. She was born in Newcastle, Ontario on January 22, 1913. Dot lead an interesting life interwoven with a successful career that allowed her to travel extensively throughout the world, making friends wherever she went. She had a strong interest in the arts and had published articles on her travels. Dot was very proud of her Scottish ancestry and took great pleasure in wearing the McLeod tartan. A life-long Anglican, Dot was a member of The Church of the Messiah, Toronto, and later, in Edmonton, All Saints Anglican Cathedral. Many of her friends enjoyed being entertained in her home with fine food and good discussions. She will be fondly remembered and missed by many in all walks of life. A funeral service was held previously at All Saints Cathedral, Edmonton. A Service of Committal will take place at the McLeod family plot, Bowmanville cemetery , on Wednesday, April 18, 2001 at 2:00p.m. The Reverend Andrew Sheldon of The Church of the Messiah will officiate. All are welcome. If desired, donations may be made to The Church of the Messiah, 240 Avenue Road, Toronto M5R 2J4. Arrangements under the direction of the Humphrey Funeral Home- A.W. (Retired employee of General Motors). After a brief illness at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa on Friday, April 13th, 2 001 in his 73rd year. Dearly beloved husband of Betty (nee Kirkpatrick). Loving father of Glen and his wife Cathy and Cindy and her husband Terry Trainor. Cherished grandfather of Graig and Chelsey; and Tonya and Clay. Brother of Audrey and her husband Lew Asselstine and predeceased by Fern, Violet, Jean and Robert “Bob". GUIMOND, (Rogers) JUDY (Elizabeth) -
passed away April 12th after a brave battle with cancer. She will be missed by her husband Larry, and her children Jennifer and Ian Rogers. She is survived by both her parents and a large number of brothers and sisters. In accordance with her final wishes her ashes will be returned to her native Cape Breton. Rest well in heaven Lady in Red.

(Veteran of W.W.II, Proud Member of the 48th Highlander Regiment, Member of R.C.L. Branch 258, Highland Creek). Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Centenary Health Centre, in Toronto, on Thursday, April 12, 2001, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Betty. Loving father of June and her husband John Taylor, Linda and her husband Vincent Mullins, and Donna and her husband Robert Tonner. Much loved Poppy to 9 grandchildren. Dear brother of Edith and Fred Back. Many thanks to Dr. Berry, Dr. Swan, Mary Peluso and the I.C.U. nursing staff, angels all, at Centenary Health Centre.
