Suddenly, at Lakeridge Health Corp. Oshawa on Saturday, August 4, 2001, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Nicholas Yurchuk. Loving mother of Joyce and her husband the late Ronald Twining, Julianne and her husband Robert Cole and the late Robert Yurchuk. Dear sister of the late Anne Raich. Cherished grandmother of Gary, Ken, Jim, Danny, Tim Twining and Kim Kapczynski, Judi Stone, Robin Yurchuk and great-grandmother of Alicia, Tiana, Nicolas, Haley, Alexis, Tanner, Tyson, Connor Twining and Stacey and Steven Stone. Special aunt to Walter and Anna Kostyk of Welland. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the McIntosh-Anderson Funeral Home Ltd., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433 5558) on Monday from 7-9 pm. A service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, August 7, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre cemetery , Burlington. Donations made in memory of Pearl to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.

Loved father of Keith, Gerald and his wife Brenda, Trudy and her husband Craig Barton and Jane Demooy. Dear grandfather of Thomas Barton. Loving brother of Nel Demooy of Holland, Doreen Nanniga of Bowmanville, Leo Demooy of Newcastle and the late Keith Demooy and Wilhemina Veleke. Loved son of the late Gertrude & Cornelius Demooy. Friends may call at the Morris Funeral chapel, 4 Division Street, Bowmanville on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in our Chapel on Monday at 1 p.m. Interment Bowmanville cemetery. HLADY, Maurice -
With deep sadness, Maurice's family announce his death on Friday, August 3, 2001 at the Sunnybrook Veteran's Residence in his 79th year, after a lengthy illness. Born Rama, Saskatchewan. Enlisted W.W. II as soon as he was eligible, at the age of 18, in the R.C.A.F. He remained in that service after the war and duty took him across North America, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. It included service with the Canadian Joint Staff in London, England, the U.N. Emergency Force in the Belgian Congo, the Gaza Strip and Yemen. He retired with the rank of Wing Commander/Lieutenant Colonel after 28 years. He joined McKinsey and Co. Consultants, briefly, before he established the Canadian Executive Search Group which he continued with until forced to stop by heart disease. After surgery he was as active as possible and a member of Confederation Lodge A.F. and A.M. No. 720 and the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 322. With Elaine, he supported his Church, travelled, followed the Blue Jays, enjoyed concerts and theatre, and was an avid golfer. Maurice, dearly loved husband of Elaine (nee Watson). Father of Brian and his partner Janet, of Stouffville, and Keith and his wife Katalin, of Toronto. Grampa to Mallory, Mitchell, and Zoe. Brother of Terry of Calgary, and Gerald of Barrie. Predeceased by Harry, Paul, Stella, Olea, Jeanette, Mary and Ann. Survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. A Service to celebrate the life of Maurice, will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 35 Church Street North, Pickering Village (Ajax) on Thursday, August 9, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. Interment Duffins Meadows cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined, but should family and friends so desire, donations to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church would be greatly appreciated.

Dearest step-mom of Glen, Tammy and Dave and his wife’ Michelle. Loving Grandma of Austin. Dear sister of Doug, Ross, Gary and David. Resting at The Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with funeral service in the chapel on Tuesday, August 7, 2001 at 3pm. Cremation Thornton Crematorium. Dear grandmother of Michael and Christopher and great-grandmother of Joshua and Austin. BROWN, Irene M. R.N. -
(Wellesley Class of 1931). After suffering a stroke on August 1st, 2001 Irene was finally given her release at 4:30 AM. Tuesday, August 14th, 2001 at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa. Predeceased by her loving husband William E. Brown (12/06/1909 - 22/10/1996), sister Madeline Arnott (1990), brothers Gordon (1991) and James Kenneth (2001). Survived by sister Kathleen R. Niles and brother Jack 0. Clarke (Joan) arid will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and extended family. A Private Family Memorial Service was held on Mon­day, August 20th, 2001. Former resident of Forbrock Street, Pickering, Ontario for forty years. Peacefully passed away, in her eighty-second year, on August 1, 2001, at Lakeridge Health Centre, Uxbridge. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth J. Hamilton and the late Charles A. Rogers. Cherished mother of George Rogers, William Rogers, Charles Rogers, John Rogers, Robert Rogers, Jane Williams and Susan Watson. Caring grandmother of fourteen grandchildren (one deceased), and eighteen great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Ebner Day (Midland, Ont.), and predeceased by five sisters and one brother. She will be sadly missed by her many family and friends. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Funeral Service at St. George's Anglican Church (Randall Dr., Pickering Village), on Tuesday, August 7, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. George's Anglican Church cemetery.
