MCLAUGHLIN, Ruth (Foshay) nee McMahon -
Died Saturday September 1st, 2001 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife and constant companion of Glenn McLaughlin. Daughter of the late Gladys and Arthur McMahon. Survived by sister Thora (Jim) Gray and brother Ted (Verna) McMahon. Predeceased by brothers Wesley (Jean) and Ritchie McMahon. Much loved mother of Marty (Vicki) Foshay, Rob (Karen) Foshay and Cindy (Tom) Spry. Step mother of Todd, Kevin and Eric McLaughlin. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Aaron, Tracy, John, Stephanie, Laurel, Olivia, Michael and Melinda. Family Service will be held in the chapel at MOUNT LAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS on Saturday September 8th at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in her name would be greatly appreciated.

At his residence in Pontypool on Saturday, September 1, 2001 in his 77th year. Wilfred, beloved husband of Grace (Loshaw) Richardson. Dear father of Linda and her husband Ralph Hyland, Debbie and her husband Dan Butson, Paul and his wife Tracy and Harry and his wife Paula. Loving grandfather of Kristina, Shelley, Steven, Sarah, Matthew, Lucas, Kyle, Jeffery, Julie and Adam. Bill, beloved husband of Joanne Alexander. Loving father of Bill Jr. (Tammy), Robyn Belford (Tom), and Shannon, and grandfather of Tyler Belford. Fondly remembered by his father William Sr., by his brothers Robert, Doug, Jim, and his sister Valerie. Dear son-in-law of Joe Drumm, and brother-in-law of Sean Drumm. Family and friends will be received at the W.C. Town Funeral Chapel, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Friday. Service in the Chapel on Saturday November 3, 2001 at 11a.m. followed by cremation.

Dearly missed by Her brothers and sisters Yvonne, Elizabeth, Christopher, Charles, Angela, Laurice, and Eleanor. Cherished Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Carole was a caring physiotherapist who touched the lives of many over her 36 year career. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home 124 King Street East Oshawa. With mass of Christian Burial at St. Gertrudes Roman Catholic Church on Saturday November 3rd at 11:00am. Visitation Saturday from 9:00am until time of Service.

Lovingly remembered, by her grandchildren Denise and her husband Nor­man Cooke, Dean, Amy Cockerton and great- grandchildren Deirdre and Scott Cooke, and Gavin Cockerton-Kokot. Dear sister of Denzil and his wife Margaret Marks, Vivian and her husband George Boustead and the late Cecil Marks. Sister-in-law of Olga Marks and Adele ‘Toots’ Carey. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Gordon, Glenn, Belinda, Theresa, Cohn, Darlene, Jen­nifer, Kellylee, Brad and 12 great-grandchil­dren. Predeceased by her brother John Mac­Arthur. (Served as a W.W.II Veteran with the Midland Regiment of the Canadian Armed Forces; Served overseas as a Canadian Officer on Loan to the British Army. Bruce was involved in D Day plus 1 in Normandy and served in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. Bruce was the Clerk of the Village of Pickering, Deputy Clerk for Ontario county and retired as a Deputy clerk for the Region of Durham in 1985.) At the family residence Pickering on Tuesday October 30, 2001. Bruce Alexander Hogarth in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Edith Rackham. Loving father of Clare, Joanne and her husband Ron Doble, and Kathy and her husband Peter Kaiser. Proud Grandpa of Stuart, Jeffery, Cory, Chris, Stacy and Jordan. Brother of the late Stuart, Jean and Jessie. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at Pickering Village United Church, 300 Church Street, North, Pickering Village (Ajax) on Friday, November 2, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. Should family and friends so desire, donations to Pickering Village United Church or the Charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
