HANNA, Florence Lillian (nee Savage) -
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Corp. Bowmanville on Thursday December 13, 2001, in her 84th year. Florence was the beloved wife of Armour Hanna. She is survived by her sister-in-law Mildred Long of Guelph, nieces Elizabeth Schumaker (Millard) of Kingston, Martha Arthurs of Alberta, and her nephews Donald (Jayne) Long of Toronto, Russell Long of Guelph and Ed (Diane) Long of Montreal. She was predeceased by her sister Nora McKnight. Armour will receive family and friends at McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King Street East Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. and from 2-3 p.m. on Monday December 17, 2001 followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 pm. Cremation. If you so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations to Kingsview United Project Fund would be appreciated. Special thanks to Dr. Osborne, nurses and staff at Lakeridge Health Corp. Bowmanville for their loving care.

NEWMAN (Pearce), Sadie Lena -
Born and raised in Coboconk, long time resident of Oshawa Peacefully at Thorntonview Nursing Home Oshawa, on Thursday December 13th, 2001. Sadie aged 88 year. Beloved we of the late Percy Newman. Loving mother of Clinton and his wife Anneke of Zion, Ill., Marie Oliver of Westmeath, Keith and his wife Dianne of Prince Albert, Earl and his wife Mary of Oshawa, Wayne and his wife Debbie of Oshawa, Dianne Smith and her husband Allan of Bethany, and Sharon Goodwin and her husband Phil of Oshawa. Lovingly remembered by her 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with funeral service in the Chapel on Monday December 17, 2001 at 11 a.m. Interment MOUNT LAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS, Whitby. Memorial donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated. Visitation Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

PRATO, Giulia -
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday December 13, 2001 in her 74th year. Giulia, beloved wife of the late Nino. Loving mother of Saverio and Lucia Prato, Vittoro and Deborah Prato, Teresa Prato, and Norma and James Olorenshaw. Dear grandmother of Nicholas, Stephanie, Ashley, Brendon, Shannon, Nathan, Jordan, Rachel, and Bradley. Fondly remembered by her many relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the W.C. Town Funeral Chapel, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby from 7 to 9 pm Saturday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Sunday. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon at 3 pm. Mass of the Christian burial will be held at Holy Family Parish (91 Ribblesdale Drive; Whitby) on Monday December 17, 2001 at 10 a.m. Interment , Holy Cross cemetery , Thornhill. VAN HEININGEN, Christiannus John (Chris) -
Aged 78 years. Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday December 13th, 2001. Beloved husband of Barbara and the late Alida Van Heiningen. Loving father of Rita Stel, John, Margo Simcock, Randy, Marion Spicer and Chris. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Travis and Tara Stel, Alisha and Chris Van Heiningen, Brian and Bradley Simcock, Daniel, Stephanie and Emily Spicer, Joshua and Zachary Van Heiningen. Visitation at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday. A Celebration of his Life will be held 2pm Saturday Dec. 15th at The Bowmanville Salvation Army Community Church. Interment to follow in Bowmanville cemetery. Donations made to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.

At Meadowpark Nursing Home, London on Wednesday, December 12, 2001. M. Aileen (Beavers) Bagshaw of Dorchester (and formerly of Toronto) in her 90th year. Wife of the late Vincent T. Bagshaw. Dear mother of Gail Smale and her husband Gary of Dorchester. Predeceased by a son Ross (Skip) Bagshaw. Loving grandmother of David Smale and his wife Tracy of Norwood, Sean Bagshaw of Calgary and Darryl Bagshaw of London. Predeceased by a granddaughter Dawn Smale. Loving great grandmother of Demi, Bret and Bradley Smale. Also survived by a daughter-in-law Joanne Bagshaw of London. Private family funeral arrangements. A graveside service was held at the Foster Memorial cemetery , Uxbridge on Friday, December 14, 2001 with Reverend Catherine McIntosh of Udora United Church the officiant. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society of London and Middlesex, Suite 201, 931 Commissioners Road, London, ON N5Z 3H9 would be appreciated. (1972 - 2001). Tragically taken away at the age of 29 on Wednesday, December 12, 2001, as the result of a fire in Wilton, Maine, USA. Belovedson of Joane and Bradley Farrant and Daniel and Sandi Graux. Beloved brother of Christopher Graux and Audrea, Deanne Farrant and husband Robert. Beloved uncle of Amanda, Jason, Maria and David. Sadly missed by grandparents James and Phyllis Boar of Coboconk and Emily Graux of Quebec. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax from 7 to 9 pm on Wednesday.
