Peacefully at the Lakeridge Health-Oshawa. Marion went to be with her Lord on Friday, December 7th, 2001 at the age of 78, Beloved wife of the late Reginald. Loving mother of David, Ted (Nancy), Don (Marg), Nancy Ongena, Ann Smith (Elmer), Lois, Betty Sopher (Steve), Tim (Sandra). Cherished grandmother of Jacqui, Mike, Tracey, Daryl, Laura, Jeffery and Lisa Molyneaux; Michelle and Trina Ongena; Dan, Al, Brad and Jim Smith; Joy, Virginia and Tim Sopher; Heather and Christopher Molyneaux. Gee Gee of Katie, Courtney and Adam Smith; Ryan, Erin and Amy Smith; Elizabeth and Benjamin Mayhew; and Brittian Molyneaux. Sister of Frances Brett (Harvey) of Woodstock, Ontario. Sister in-law of Gladys and Marg Cook; Len and Audrey Molyneaux all of Woodstock, and George and Evelyn Inkster of Kincardine, Ontario. Predeceased sister of Margaret, Leslie, Lois, Mildred and Howard. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Friends were received at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE, “Thornton Chapel”, 847 King St., West, (905-721-1234), for visitation on Monday, December 10th, from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 11th, 2001 at 1:30 P.M. at Calvary Baptist Church. Interment , MOUNT LAWN cemetery. Donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, Gideons Bible Society or a Charity choice would be appreciated.

At Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Friday December 7th, 2001, Ignacy Suchorski, age 86 years. Beloved husband of Genowefa Kluska. Dear father of Ursula Albion and her husband Douglas, Barbara Johnson and her husband Mark and Theresa Szucsko. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Katherine, Caroline, Christopher, Sara, Matthew, Rick and Lindsay. Brother of Natalia and Lucia, both in Poland and Valerie in France. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East Oshawa, with Mass of Christian Burial in St. Hedwig's Church Oshawa on Monday, December 10th at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection cemetery Whitby. Prayers will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated. Visitation Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

(34 year Employee of the Oshawa Fire Department). At Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday December 7, 2001 Bill Tweedie, beloved husband of 55 years and best friend of Gladys Simpson. Dear father of Sharon & her husband Ed Hanewich and Dianne O'Donnell & her husband Don Bromley. Also survived by his sister Madeline Parfitt. At his request, cremation has taken place. At Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, on Friday, December 7, 2001, age 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Albert Joseph (Barney) Wart. Dear mother of the late Carolynne Mara. Mother-in-law of John Mara. Grandmother of Mark and Monique Mara; Kevin and Heather Mara; Kim and Craig Engel, and great-grandmother of Constance, Katherine, Matthew, Tyler, Tiffany, Candace and Tanner. (Former teacher and music supervisor for Ontario County and later the Durham Region School Board, former Choir Director of Port Perry United Church Choir, and founder of the Scugog Choral Society). The family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Grace Leona (nee Cawker), on Thursday, December 6, 2001 at Lakeview Manor in Beaverton, at age 90. Beloved wife of the late Frank Hastings of Port Perry. Loved mother of Gloria and her husband Don Forder of Port Perry, Kaye Reamsbottom of Port Perry, and Charlie Hastings and his wife Pat of Bowmanville. Loving grandmother of Terry, Joe, Todd, Brad, Dana, Shera, and Chris and great grandmother of Adam, Vanessa, Jordan, Brandon, Dylan and Delaney. Dear sister of Bob Cawker and his wife Madeline of Port Perry, and she was predeceased by her brothers Gord, Charlie, Sam and Jim. Dear friend of Donald Wilkin and his wife Joan of Port Perry. Relatives and friends will be received at the Wagg Funeral Home, "McDermott- Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Service to celebrate the life of Grace Hastings will be held in the Chapel on Monday, December 10th at 11a.m. With Reverend Robert Le Page officiating. Private Interment Pine Grove cemetery , Prince Albert. If desired memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Community Memorial Hospital Foundation, the Scugog Historical Society or the Town Hall 1873 in Port Perry.

HENRY, Robert John Arthur -
Peacefully at Hillsdale Manor on Thursday December 6, 2001. Bob Henry in his 73rd year. Son of the late Vernon Henry & Ivy Holmes. Dear brother of Marjorie Elizabeth Henry, and the late William James Stuart Henry, and Margaret Aleda Mae Henry. Also survived by his nephews Terry & Randy Henry. Loving mother of Albert and his wife Judy, Luke and his wife Bertha, Bill and his wife Sue and the late Harry, and his wife Joan. Lovingly remembered by her many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and her Great-great Grandson. Predeceased by her two sisters in Holland. Margaret will be sadly missed by all of her friends and family. Sadly missed by grandchildren Amanda, James, Andrew, Kimberly, Melissa, Samantha, Alyssa, Nicholas, Emily, and Alison. Friends were received at the NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S. (just north of 401 at the lights) on Sunday, December 9, from 2 p.m. until the funeral service at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home, with Reverend David Chisling, BA, BEd, MDiv. officiating. John Richard Byrne in his 84th year entered into rest on Wednesday, December 5, 2001 at Lakeridge Health Corp. Oshawa. John, beloved husband of Margaret (nee Teefy) for 53 years. Loving father of Mary Pat Byrne of Kingston, Joseph and his wife Jane Byrne of Osbawa, Anne and her husband Allan Kenny of lnverary, Gerry Byrne of Cavan, Therese Byrne of Oshawa. Cathy and her husband Nick Colucci of Omemee, John and his wife Kathy Byrne of Leskard, and predeceased by baby twin daughters. Loving grandfather of Jerry, Jennifer, Jason, Stephanie, Michelle, Nicole and Jessica. Brother of Erma Devine of Oshawa, predeceased by brother Joseph Byrne of Thorold and sister Rita Cooper of Toronto. Proud grandpa of Amanda, Chris, Michelle, Jasen, Ashley, Michael, Kiel, Katrina, Bobby, Lauren, Cera, Kortney, Nicole, Kirsten, Steven and Quentin. Dear brother of Shirley, Irma, Audrey, Calvin, and predeceased by brother Edward. Sadly missed by their families. Peacefully at Strathaven Lifecare Centre in Bowmanville, on Tuesday December 5, 2001, the Lord took to his eternal home our loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, George Flim in his 103rd year. Predeceased by his wife and two sons. Loving dad of Alice and Ike Dykstra, Diane Oudyk, Henk and Flora Flim, Bertha and Albert Hosmar, George (deceased) and Ann Flim, Jenny and Cameron Linnell, Herman Flim (deceased), Joanne and Fred Wind; 26 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren. McLAUGHLIN, Arthur Ted -
(32 year retiree of General Motors). After a courageous battle with Cancer. Ted died peacefully on Wednesday December 5th, 2001, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in his 79th year. He was the son of the late Douglas McLaughlin and Gertrude (nee Pascoe). Beloved husband of the late Jean McLaughlin. Loved father of Carolyn and her husband Neil Gibbs. Cherished Pampa of Sheri and her husband Craig Smith, and Shannon Ryan. Will be missed by his Great Grandchildren Shayne, Tanner, and Jennifer Smith and Jessica and Jaime Ryan. Dear Brother of Lorraine Goodman, Madge Matheson, Dean McLaughlin, and Glenn McLaughlin. Predeceased by Mavis Quail, Phil McLaughlin, and Verne McLaughlin. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East Oshawa, with a Complete Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday December 8th at3:00 p.m. Cremation and Interment Thornton cemetery. RUNNALLS, Howard Joseph -
Peacefully at the Ajax-Pickering Hospital on December 5, 2001 in his 96th year. Beloved husband for 61 years of the late Eleanor Runnalls. Dear father of Lyn Grant and her husband George of Pinawa, Manitoba and Sandy Runnalls and his wife Jean of Oshawa, Ontario. Loving grandfather of Carol of Dryden, Don of Winnipeg, Lynn of Oshawa, and Stephen of Sudbury, and great-grandfather of five. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario in mathematics and physics, Howard taught in Wallaceburg for two years, and then at Timmins High and Vocational School from 1934 to 1968, where he became vice-principal in 1949. Howard and Eleanor moved to Oshawa in 1983. A private family service will be held at a later date. If desired, as expressions of sympathy, donations to a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Brother of John Clements and the late Norma Gray.
