(Proudly served overseas in W.W. II). Peacefully, at Lakeridge Health Corp. Oshawa, on Monday, January 7, 2002, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Barbara of 51 years. Cherished father of Brian Callan and his wife Linda of Coldwater, Lynne Hason and her husband Ron of Toronto and Barry Callan and his wife Susan of Oshawa. Devoted grandpa to Melinda, Brian, Paul, Ronnie, Bradley, Jeremy, Lisa, Barry Jr., Jennifer, and great-grandpa to Naomi and Jordan. Predeceased by his brothers Don and his wife Evelyn and Raymond and his wife Hilda. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558), on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, January 10, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Thornton cemetery. MARINO, Gaetano “Torn” -
Peacefully after a courageous battle at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa on Monday January 7th, 2002, with his family by his side, at the age of 73. Survived by his loving wife of 42 years Giuseppina. Sadly missed by his caring children Vince and his wife Maria Marino and Lucrezia and her husband Robert Rosteck. Proud Nonno to his five wonderful grandchildren Tommy, Kayla, Catherine, Alexandra and Elizabeth. He is survived by his brother Gaspare and sister Rosa both of Italy. Gaetano will be forever missed by his nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family and his many friends. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Geoff Luck and all of the nurses on 3F for all of their care and compassion. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Mark, Christopher, Crystal, Amanda and Roger Mooyer, William, Gilbert and Margaret Beer, Gordon and Douglas Rose and Melody Vincent. Dear brother of Gerda Boon of Oshawa, Petronella, Cornelis, Henk, Margaret and Abe all of Holland. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East Oshawa, with Mass of Christian Burial from St. Gregory the Great Roman Ca­tholic Church on Thursday January 10, 2002 at 10:30 am. DANFORD, William Edwin “Bill” -
Member of the Oshawa Shrine Club. Suddenly on Sunday January 6th, 2002, at the age of 69. Bill Danford, beloved husband of Beverly. Dear fa­ther of the late James Danford. Son of the late Anne and Jack Danford. Survived by his brothers and sister, Bob and Mary of Barrie, Mac and Marie of Norwood, Jo Anne and her friend Craig Gilbertson of Whitehorse, Yukon. Bill was well known in the construction industry having recently retired from Bennett Paving, Minor Softball organizations in Oshawa, and the Oshawa Shrine Club. Bill will be sadly missed by many friends and Acquaintances. At the family's request, services for Bill will be private. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens, Peterborough. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at the Oshawa Shrine Club, Simcoe St. North, on January 26th, 2002, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Memorial Donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated. FOWLER, Margaret (Peggy) Kathleen -
At Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, on Sunday, January 6, 2002, in her 92nd year. Daughter of the late Harry and Margaret Rice, nee Giles. Sister of the late Ronald, Donald, Stephen and Winifred. Predeceased by husbands Leslie Thompson and Albert Fowler and son Douglas. Dear mother of Evelyn and her hus­band Dr Martin Gillen of Cumberland, ON and Beverly and her husband Michel Boileau of Whitby. She leaves six grandchildren: Christopher and his wife Susan, Alyssa, Brittany and Joshua Gillen; Dominique and Gabrielie Boileau. Fondly remembered by lifelong friends Ann Rice and Rose Saunders and many nieces and nephews. Peggy was a founding member of Grandview Rehabilitation and Treatment Centre. Relatives and friends will be received at the First Baptist Church, 812 Hortop St., Oshawa, where she was the longest serving member. Visiting will commence at 12 noon Saturday, January 12, 2002, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00p.m. Reception to follow. At Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, January 6th, 2002, Maureen Hunsdale, age 71 years. Predeceased by her parents Gladys and John Hunsdale. Beloved wife of the late George Gay. Dear mother of Philip Gay and his wife Margaret. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Branden, Symon and Tiffany. Sister of Jack Hunsdale. Aunt of Wendy Elizuik and her husband Dennis and their children David and Darryl. A family memorial service was held at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East Oshawa on Thursday, Jan. 10th, 2002. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

GORSKI, Sigmund -
After his long and courageous battle with cancer passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 6th, 2002. He is now home with his Lord.
