Loving grandson of Peg & Bob Milliken and Ted & the late Jane Guest. Dear nephew to Janice & John Kroft; Nancy & Bill Belanger; Robert Milliken; Diane & Maurice Blondeau; Sjaan & Mike Protulipac; Anne Ayres and Ginny & Sieds Tamsma. Great-grandson of Janet Law. A Memorial Service will be held 1pm Wednesday February 13, 2002 at St. Paul's United Church, Bowmanville. Arrangements entrusted to The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville. LYSEYKO, Harold M.-
Peacefully at Hillsdale Manor with his family by his side on Saturday, February 9th, 2002 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s at the age of 74. Loving husband of Jean (nee Samitz). Caring father of Ann and her husband Boyd Brooks, and Donna Lyseyko. Dear grandfather of Stephanie Brooks. Harold will be sadly missed by his brother Oscar Lyseyko and his wife Stephanie, and his nieces, nephews and extended family. Friends will be received at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE “Thornton Chapel", 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Tuesday, February 12th from 2 - 4 & 7 -9 PM. with Panachyda at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Service was held at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church (31 Bloor St. East at Sinicoe in Oshawa) on Wednesday, February 13th at 9:30 A.M. followed by Interment at Thornton cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church or a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

RAVEHILL, Rev. Godfrey Charles -
passed away peacefully at home in Erin February 9th, 2002, in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Phyllis. Cherished father of Liz (Paul), Paul, Sheila (Sandy), Tim (Lorraine), Sianie (Ernie). Brother to Ken (Victoria, B.C.) and to Barbara (Peter) (Cardiff, Wales). Adored Papa of Rebecca, Ashleigh, Bethany, Christopher, Melissa and Andrew. He will be greatly missed by all his friends at Faith Baptist Church (Whitby). Family Service at Butcher's Funeral Home (Erin) Tuesday February 12th, 2002 1-3pm. Memorial service at Faith Baptist to be announced. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Child Evangelism Fellowship, especially assigned to the orphans in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Survived by his brothers and sisters, Joan, Gladys, Derek, Muriel, Eileen and David. SHIPLEY, Charles B. -
Peacefully passed February 9th, 2002 in his 85th year. Beloved husband to Carole, proud father of Don and Karol, Laurie and Bill, and Cynthia and loving grandfather to Katie, Wayne, Matthew and Olivia. Brother to Jim, Russell, Elizabeth and Lil. 'Uncle Chuck' is fondly remembered by many nephews and nieces. The family extends special thanks to Dr. Burke and the Bowmanville Hospital Staff. Charles served his country with honour from 1938 to 1945 overseas with the 48th Highlanders of Canada (4th Princess Louise Dragoon Guards). He was a Mason for 50 years with Occident Lodge No. 346 and a past member of Local 46 Plumber's and Steamfitter's Union. He retired from Cadillac Fairview in 1982 as Asst. Building Manager of the T.D. Centre. Family and friends are invited to a memorial celebration of his life to take place on Saturday, February 16th at the Doric Pickering Masonic Hall, 457 Kingston Rd. W., Pickering Village at 2:30 p.m. The passing of Charles is a great loss to his family and friends. He will live in their hearts forever. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Foster Parents Plan of Canada or the Salvation Army.

Loved father of Katherine & her husband Lloyd Lee, Karen & her husband Louis Kahn, Stephen & his wife Kim, Brett & his wife Cheryl, Lynn & her husband Gary Cox and Tammy & her husband Donald Jones. Dear grandfather of Jennifer and Jason Lee, Tanya and Ryan Hill, Michael, Nicole and Derek Cyr, Kyle and Cole Cyr and Darren and Deanna Jones. Loved brother of Alma McFarlane, Ida Grant, Cecile Marshall, Betty Ritchie, and the late Yvonne Grant, Rudolph Cyr, Leo Cyr, Claude Cyr, and Albert Cyr. Ron will be missed by his nieces, nephews, and many friends, especially his dog Dalton. Longtime member of Scouts Canada for 40 years. Born on September 4, 1944 in Glasgow, Scotland. passed away on Friday February 8, 2002 due to an unforeseen accident. Devoted and loving wife of 37 years to David. Beloved mother of 3, David, Heather and Carol-Ann. Mother-in-law of Donna, Stephen and Darren. Grandmother of Stewart and David Jr. Sister of Boab Bell and his wife Janet and their children, John Bell sand his wife Helen and their children and Joan Smart (of Scotland) and her children. Ann will be dearly missed by all. Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, British Columbia, Carole Black (nee Anderson) passed away February 7, 2002 at the age of 51. She leaves behind her loving husband John of 31 years. Loving daughter of Eveline and the late John Anderson of Beaverton, Ontario, dear sister of John and Linda of Wyevale, twin brother Gary and Colleen of Port Perry. She will be remembered by nephews Ian, Robert, Jamie and Michael and niece Catherine. Carole has been cremated and will be interred at the Stone Church cemetery in Beaverton at a later date. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

GATCHELL, Rick H. -
passed away suddenly on February 7, 2002 at the age of 55. He is survived by his loving wife Lorraine, his children Bill and partner Brigitte Dompierre of Ottawa and Michelle and husband Fernando Simoes and their children Charnelle, Claudia and Carson of Surrey B.C. He is also survived by his mother Willma of Orono and his father the late Earl, and sister Marjory Ann and husband Dennis Marshall of Oshawa and son Douglas Marshall and wife Wendy of Courtice. Funeral was held at St. Laurent Funeral Home in Ottawa. His interment was on Tues. Feb. 12 at the Bondhead cemetery. In lieu offlowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario.
