passed away peacefully at the Surnnycrest Nursing Home on Tuesday, March 26th, 2002, in her 94th year. Absent from the body and present with the Lord. Loving mother of Thelma Burgess and her husband Allan and Doreen Godier and her husband Roly. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE, "Thomton Chapel”, 847 King St., West, (905-721-1234) for visitation on Saturday, March 30th, 2002 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in th Chapel at 11:00 a.m.
Interment Thornton cemetery.

(Veteran of WWII with the Royal Canadian Corps. of Signals, serving in the United Kingdom, Belgium and Holland). At Sunnycrest Nursing Home, Whitby on Tuesday, March 26th, 2002. Roy, formerly of Oshawa, in his 83rd year. Dear brother of Irene Plitz of Ajax and the late Harold and James Gordon. Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Bess Gordon and his many nieces and nephews. Peacefully at the Cohourg General Hospital on Monday, March 25th, 2002 in her 86th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Arthur. Bernice is survived by her grandchildren Cathy and her husband Gary Abernathy, Bob and Pam Clarke, Steve Clarke, Kevin and Kristine Siblock, Laurie Siblock and Shannon and Heather Siblock and Great Grandchildren Patrick, Trevor, Tanya, Gary, Ashley, Brittney, Andrew, Rachael and Eden. She will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends. Quietly passed away on Monday March 25, 2002 after a short illness, at Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry at age 88. William Divine of Whitby, loving brother of Madeline Cookson, predeceased by sisters Marie Divine of Whitby and Grace Snoddon of Brooklin. Cherished Uncle of Shirley and Pete Anderson, Jim and Sylvia Cookson, Joyce and Pete Shehan, Marie Richardson, Anne and Murray McCollom and the late Joan and her surviving husband Bill Longworth. Great Uncle of Adam and Mirela, Ann and Sean, Mark and Kym, Tara, Angie and Stephen, Joanna, Melanie, Rachelle, Paul, Michelle and Craigen, Michael and Deanna. Great Great Uncle of Haley, Haley, Jacob, Maddie and Leo. A service to celebrate the life of Bill Divine will be held Wednesday March 27th, 2002 at the W. C. Town Fueral Chapel, 110 Dundas St. E., Whitby at 2:00 pm. Friends and relatives will be received one hour before the funeral service. Interment to follow at GROVESIDE cemetery , Brooklin. Family requests in lieu of flowers a donations to a Charity of your choice.

January 28, 1903 - March 25, 2002. passed away peacefully at the Community Nursing Home in Port Perry on Monday, March 25, 2002 in her 100th year. Dear wife of the late Dr. M. B. Dymond. Mother of Beverley Livesay of Peterborough and Nancy Dymond of Port Perry. Loving grandmother of Andrea, Lawrie and his wife Tracy, Catherine and her husband Philip and great-grandmother of Gabriel, Llyam and Zackery. Special aunt to Jeanne and Gordon Goode, Greg and Lynn Goode and Gordon Goode and their families. (30 year employee of Maple Leaf Mills, Toronto). Suddenly at his residence on Monday, March 25th, 2002 in his 74th year. Loving husband of Audrey. Dear father of Bob, Mike, Jo-Anne and Sue and daughter-in-law Lezlie and son-in-law Wade. Caring Grandfather of Tricia, Mike, Stephen, Jessie, Jimmy and Great Grandfather of Brianna. Lorne is survived by his brother Vein and sister Norma and will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends. There was no visitation but a Private Service was held. HART, Margaret (Peggy) Anne (nee Breen) -
After a lengthy illness, Peggy passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa on Monday, March 25th, 2002 in her 72nd year. Her memory will be cherished by her husband Lionel and her beloved sons Paul, Brian and Donald and daughters- in-law Jeanne, Laurel and Carol. She was the much loved Nana to her seven grandchildren, Kristen, Jamie, Lauren, Chris, Jesse, Angela and Conner and dear aunt of several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Dr. Harold Breen and his wife, the late Margaret Breen (nee Hart) of Ottawa and sister of the late Maxine O’Connell of Detroit, Michigan. She was also sister-in-law of Keith and Jeannine Hart of Oshawa and Ernie and Phyllis Davis of Lake Arrowhead, California and Lucille Breen of Ottawa. Peggy will be greatly missed by the Zion United Church family, the United Church Women’s Group and other members of the community. The family wishes to thank the staff of 9 Main, Lakeridge Health-Oshawa, for their care and compassion during her stay. Dear sister of Gail Brown and her friend Sheldon, Terry Woods and his wife Vianne. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Samantha, Eric, Brandon, and Robert. Brenda will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews and her numerous friends. Friends were received at the Thorne Memorial chapel in Sunderland on Tuesday from 7-9 P.M. Funeral Service in the chapel on Wednesday, March 27th, 2002 at 3 P.M.
