After a lengthy illness, Peggy passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa on Monday, March 25th, 2002 in her 72nd year. Her memory will be cherished by her husband Lionel and her beloved sons Paul, Brian and Donald and daughters- in-law Jeanne, Laurel and Carol. She was the much loved Nana to her seven grandchildren, Kristen, Jamie, Lauren, Chris, Jesse, Angela and Conner and dear aunt of several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Dr. Harold Breen and his wife, the late Margaret Breen (nee Hart) of Ottawa and sister of the late Maxine O’Connell of Detroit, Michigan. She was also sister-in-law of Keith and Jeannine Hart of Oshawa and Ernie and Phyllis Davis of Lake Arrowhead, California and Lucille Breen of Ottawa. Peggy will be greatly missed by the Zion United Church family, the United Church Women’s Group and other members of the community.
