Uxbridge, ON. On Wednesday, May 1st, 2002, Mrs. Kelly Cantera Stroeder, late of Uxbridge, Ont. passed away in Uxbridge Cottage Hospital at the age of 31 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her father, Robert Cantera in January 2000, Kelly is survived by her loving husband, Tim, and son, Trey of Uxbridge; mother Eleanor Noble (Bill Regnier) of Mt. Forest; sister Kim Brownlee and nephew, Bayden of North Bay along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Resting at the Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge for visitation on Friday, May 3rd, 2002 from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Celebration of Kelly's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2002, at the Trinity United Church, 20 -- 1st Avenue, Uxbridge with Rev. Peacefully at Fairview Lodge on Wednesday May 1st, 2002. Edna aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Donald George. Mother of Dorothy Prentice and her husband Hugh, Ray and his wife Jo, Barb Ciach, Robert and his wife Joan, Elsie Hefford and her husband David, Ellen Baldwin ant her husband Orval. Predeceased by her sons Jimmy and Allen. Predeceased by her brothers Arnold, George, Bert, Willie, Max and by her sister Laura. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Doctor of Law, L.L.D. July 16, 1914 to May 1, 2002. Loving husband of Nina (nee Selivanova). Steve passed away peacefully at home, in his 88th year, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his three children, Peter, Veronica, and Catherine, and by their spouses Patricia, Walter Hodgson, and Rick Rolstin. 'Grandpa' will be missed by: Marna, Michael, Cara, Rachelle, and Nicole. Stephanie and Jonathon will always remember their 'Papa'. Steve was also great-grandfather to Ashley and Jessica. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. R. Verdonk for his compassionate and understanding care. Thank you also to the nurses and personal support workers of Saint Elizabeth Health Care and Durham Home Care who came daily, especially Marlene Dixon R.N. (Partners in Community Nursing), Kim, and Bonnie, who always managed to put a smile on Steve's face. A heartfelt thank you also goes to Judith from Durham Hospice, and to everyone who offered their care, support, and prayers. Suddenly at the Hospital for Sick Children on Wednesday, May 1, 2002, at the age of 3. Crawford was the fun-loving son and sweet pea of Richard and Susan Wheller of Hampton. Best buddy of his brothers Addison, Oliver, and Montgomery, and his special friend Maxine. Dearly missed by his Grandma Phyllis Boyczuk, and his Nana Moida and Grandpa Jim Wheller. Cherished nephew of Patrick and Susan Pitt, Stephen Pitt and Mary Frances McGuire, Jim and Cindy Pitt, Bob and Jane Wheller, Tim and Linda Wheller, and Mike and Lisa Wheller. Missed by his little and big cousins in the Wheller and Pitt families. She was a retired Registered Nurse and had worked with the VON, Durham Region, Ontario for over 20 years. She was a member of the Living With Cancer Group, Greenwood, NS, a member of the Valley Claymore Society, and a member of the Mid-Valley Palliative Care Association. Surviving are her husband, David; sons David (Kathleen Schmidt), Lower Sackville, NS; Donald (Nicole), Napanee, Ontario; four grandchildren. Predeceased by one sister Marilyn.
