Peacefully, after a short illness, on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 70. Andrew Appleton of Port Perry, beloved husband of Verna (nee Hicks). Loving father of Dianne Davison of Port Perry, Ron Appleton of Port Perry, and Janet and her husband John Gauvin of Woodstock. Cherished grandfather of Leanne and Mark, Jenna, Laura, Kim, James, and Jessica. Loved son of the late Charlie and Jean Appleton of Myrtle. Dear brother of Susanne and her husband Al Sollows of BC, Dorothy and her husband Ken Waltham of Brooklin, Bill Appleton and his wife Heather of Toronto, and Edward 'Pat' Appleton (deceased). He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. KIRK, Lillian M.G. (nee Wilson) -
Long time Whitby resident, Lillian, a loving Christian went to be with the Lord peacefully in her sleep on July 28, 2004 at Fairview Lodge in Whitby in her 86th year. Predeceased by her husband James R. Kirk (Jimmy) in 1984, and her second son Ronald D. of Port Hope in 1996. Will lovingly be remembered by her son Robert J. and his wife Lorraine F. of Whitby, daughter Nancy B. Jansen and her husband Casey of Newtonville, Ronald's wife Dianne of Cobourg and sons Daniel W. of Oshawa, and Peter R. of Port Credit. Also remembered by 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Lillian served in the C.W.A.C. during World War II, Member of the Orange Lodge, and long time member of the Salvation Army. Many thanks to the staff and the many volunteers of Fairview Lodge. In lieu of flowers donations to the Red Shield Missions of the Salvation Army would be appreciated.

Sister of Patti Callaghan, Phyllis Isuruda and her husband Sam, Jimmy Callaghan and survived by step-father Joe Callaghan.
