Lucien leaves behind his wife Anne of Oshawa, his children Donna (Darrell) of Guelph, Douglas of Los Angeles, his grandchildren Justin, Jordan, Aaron, Emily, Jessica and Katelyn, his brother Victor (Mary Jane) of Ottawa and relatives in Niagara Falls and St. Catharines. Resting at THE ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East with Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday April 17th, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Thornton cemetery. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tyrone Saunders fondly known as "Kent". Beloved husband of Helen Saunders (nee Luke) and loving father of Jill (Jimmy) and James (Barb) at Lakeridge Health Corp. Oshawa on Thursday April 15th, 2004 at the age of 62 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Kent was predeceased by his father Charles and mother Norah. Deeply mourned by his wife, children and grandchildren (Jaron, Brooklyn, Cameron), his sisters Margaret (Bud), Brenda, brother Jack (Ray), brothers and sisters in law Ed, (Debbie), Catherine, (Frank) and his nieces and nephews Denise (Ryan), Eddie (Tonia), Marco (Angie), Carla (Jim), Michael (Johanna), Carl (Sue), Julie, Randy (Karen), Jeff (Diane), Steven (Rose). Kent's spirit, determination, boundless energy, cheerful demeanour and sense of humour will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him and especially by those who loved him. Kent's passion for life never wavered despite his long struggle. He was always surrounded by love, hope, faith, family and friends.
