RODDA, Kelly Mary -
Suddenly as the result of an automobile accident, on Sunday, November 30, 2003 at the Sunnybrook Medical Centre in Toronto, at age 31. Kelly (nee Semple), beloved wife of George Rodda of Seagrave. Loving mother of Justin, Caitlyn, Trevin and Amber. Loved daughter of Walter Semple, and Sandy and her husband Bill Harris. Dear sister of James Semple, Mike Harris and Dale Harris. The family of Kelly Rodda will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905) 985-2171 on Tuesday, December 2nd from 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, 1680 Reach Street, Port Perry on Wednesday, December 3rd at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dr. Fred Penney officiating. Interment Pine Grove cemetery , Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Charity of your choice. .

VanDRIEL, Mary J. -
(Charter member of Trull's Road Free Methodist Church, Retired Private Duty Nurse, Volunteer with the Whitby Jail).
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, she went home to be with her Lord, on Sunday November 30th, 2003. Mary (nee Hamilton) in her 87th year, dear daughter of the late Rev. R.H. and Jennie Hamilton. Beloved wife of Jack VanDriel (predeceased 1979), (former owner of College Hill Barber Shop). Loving mother of John VanDriel and his wife Lois and the late David (1966). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Louann and her husband Chris Wright, Suzanne and her husband Steve Coverly and Joanne and her husband Ken Muir and by her great grandchildren Jonathan, Bronwyn, Sean, Ian and Colin. Dear sister of Myrl Barkey, Gladys Hamilton, Gordon Hamilton, Grace and her husband Ron Bock and Hazel Hamilton. Predeceased by her brothers Robert, Burton, Kenneth and Arthur. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday December 6 at 11a.m. in Trull's Road Free Methodist Church (2301 Trull's Road S.). A Private Family interment service was held at Mount Lawn cemetery. Memorial donations to Trull's Road Free Methodist Church Building Fund would be greatly appreciated.

BOWN, John Patrick -
Suddenly at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on November 29, 2003 at the age of 39. Beloved husband of Lee. Loving father of Adam and Amber. Beloved son of Tom and Sandra Bown of Ceasarea. Dear brother of Roger and his wife Shari. Loving uncle of Samantha and Cooper. Beloved son-in-law of Arnold and Sandra Mason. Dear brother-in-law of Tracey Pike and Tom Mason. Dearly remembered by his best friends, Martin Reininger, Paula Brakel and Paul Porter. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all his family, friends and co-workers. A service service will be held at the W.C, Town Funeral Chapel on Thursday December 4, 2003 at 2:30 pm. Cremation. In memoriam donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Hospital for Sick Children.

MORGAN, WILLIAM JAMES (Bill) -
Veteran WWII, Royal Canadian Armed Forces, REME Division, Entered into our Lords gentle embrace at Lakeridge Health, Uxbridge, on Saturday November 29, 2003 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband for 38 years of the late Doris Eleanor Fallstrom. Loving father of Eleanor and her husband Jerry Wells of Lendell Beach, British Columbia and Wayne and his wife Linda Lapp. Loved grandfather of William James (Wil/Jamie) Wells and his wife Patricia (Trisha) of Forrest, Ontario, Mark Morgan, Stephen Morgan and his wife Darlene, Luke Morgan and his wife Candace, all of Uxbridge and Aaron Morgan and his wife Christina of Hamilton, Ontario. Adoring Great Poppa to Kathleen, Stephanie and Abby. Bill, will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his special friend of the past 19 years Helen Hockley, his sister Florence McLachlin of St. Catherines, Brother-In-Law Carl Fallstrom and his wife Donna of London, Sister-In-Law Helen Ross and her husband Charles of Peterborough, Ontario, his many nieces and nephews in Canada and England, Zeredatha Lodge #220, Succoth Chapter #135 Royal Arch Masons, Uxbridge, of which Bill was in his 50th year of membership and past member of Rameses Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. of Toronto. Private cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the Uxbridge Baptist Church, 231 Brock Street West, Uxbridge on Saturday December 6th, 2003 at 2:00P.M. The family will greet friends for time of reflection between 12:00P.M. and 2:00P.M. In memory of Bill donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Parkinson's Foundation would be appreciated.

NIX, Suzanne -
After a short illness at Lakeridge Health, Bowmanville on Saturday, November 29, 2003 at the age of 76 years. Suzanne, beloved wife of the late Preston Nix. Loving mother of Robert Hamelin and his wife Louise. Loved grandmother of 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by her brothers Raymond and Herman Bureau. Good friend and companion of Ken Schermerhorne. Dear friend of Kim and Michael Fletcher. Friends may pay their respects at the Morris Funeral Chapel on Monday, December 1st from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Tuesday, December 2nd at 1 p.m. Cremation.

FLIGHT, David Arthur -
Arthur passed peacefully at his residence at the Court at Pringle Creek, Whitby ON, on Friday, November 28, 2003. Survived by his loving wife Edna and his loving sister Ruth. Beloved father of Ross and his wife Nancy, Cheryl and her husband Paul, Rick and his wife Carol. Grandfather to Pam, Laura, Heather, Bradley and Robert. Arthur was in his 86th year and recently celebrated his 61st wedding anniversary. A lifelong Freemason, Past Master of John Ross Robertson Lodge and long-time member of West Hill Lodge. Also a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite and a member of the Rameses Shrine. Memorial service for friends and relatives in the Chapel at the Court at Pringle Creek, 3975 Anderson St., Whitby, ON at 10:00 a.m., Saturday December 6, 2003. Memorial donations may be directed to the Charity of your choice and would be very much appreciated.

Peacefully, in her sleep, at Extendicare Nursing Home, Oshawa, on Friday, November 28, 2003. Doris, in her 95th year. Beloved mother of Howard Hartley, CD of Merrickville, Ontario and Allan Hartley and his wife Val of Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. Lovingly remembered by 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Survived by brother George Barlow of Cornwall, sister Ada Hicks of Lennoxville, Quebec and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held in the Common Room of Pioneer Apartments, 1250 King St. E., Oshawa on Monday, December 8, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Doris may be made to a Charity of choice through McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD. Loving mother of Gary Kovacic (Theresa), Sonya Kovacic, and Nancy Chatham (David). Predeceased by her sons Boris "John" and Slovko "Larry". Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren John, Christina, Richard, Wade, Danny, Jennifer, Jason, Becky, Mitchell, Justin, and Jessica and by her great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Cole, Keegan, Teanna, and Jailynn. Resting at The ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King St. E. Oshawa with Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gertrude's Roman Catholic Church on Monday December 1st at 2:30 p.m. Entombment Resurrection cemetery. Visitation Sunday 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Dear grandmother of Aldin, Rosie, Sharon, Melissa, Adam, and Justin, and great-grandmother of Aldin Jr., Ryan, and Stanley John. Sister of Kathleen Ross.
