Suddenly at her home on Monday, June 2, 2003 in her 78th year. Dear sister of Anica (Australia) and her husband Slavko Tomsic, the late Frank Tomsic (December 2002), and sister-in-law Dora. Predeceased by her sister Tina and brothers Miha and Tone. Dora “Patricia” Morgan (nee Bishop)
After a long illness with cancer Patricia passed away at Princess Margaret Hospital on Thursday, June 5, 2003 at the age of 56. Sadly missed by her husband Henry and children Stephen and Linda. Loving sister to Frances Parsons of Bay Roberts, Nfld., and Eleanor Parsons of Lumsden, Nfld., and the late Clifford Bishop of Hibb’s Cove Nfld. Loving daughter of the late George and Annie Bishop of Hibb’s Cove, Nfld. A special thanks to the nurses and doctors at Princess Margaret Hospital, Palliative care unit. Jean Hye Young (nee Lee)
Shortly after celebrating her 89th birthday, Jean passed away at her long time home in New Toronto/Long Branch on Friday, June 6, 2003. Born on June 2, 1914 in Stratford, Ontario, she was one of five children. Sibling to the late Sidney Sady Lee, Jean is survived by 2 sisters, Bo Hye Pang and Mae Wong, and by her late brother John’s wife, Mae Lee. A faithful widow to Louis Young since 1945, she was a devoted mother and will be missed dearly by her four children – Dorothy and husband Harry Law, Marlene and husband Morley Lem, Carol and husband Herman Wong, and Robert Young and his wife Shirley. She will be fondly remembered by her six grandchildren whom she was very proud of – Michael and wife Connie, Marcus, Matthew, Michelle, Debra and husband John, and Andrew, and by her great-granddaughter Kaitlyn. Always talkative and fond of story telling, Jean will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Family and Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. On June 23, 2003 at University Hospital, London, Kathleen Norma Tufano passed away in her 86th year with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Anthony. Frank Charles Paszat
In his 79th year, passed away suddenly at his home in Toronto on Friday, May 2, 2003. Frank served overseas with the RCAF (Squadron 426) in W.W. II. Upon returning home he became an employee of Bell Canada where he worked until he retired in 1983. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, Audrey, their sons Lawrence and Eric, daughter-in-law Cathy, granddaughters Heather, Emma, and Sarah, and his four-footed companion “Nero”. Frank was born in Chatham, Ontario and is predeceased by his parents Roman and Anna, and his four brothers Stanley, Cashmir, John and Leslie. After a lengthy illness, Peter, in his 73rd year, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Health Centre on Wednesday, May 7, 2003. Loving husband of Stella. Dear father of sons Mike and Peter. Dido to grandchildren Steven and Madison. Predeceased by his daughter Christine who passed away at age 10 in 1970 and his grandson Jake who passed away October 1998. Also predeceased by his younger sister Olga Tataren who passed away in 2000. Survived by brother Nick (Julia), sisters Elsie (widow of John Sudeyko) and Victoria (widow of Walter Morhan).
