William Wilson "Bill" MacKeigan - 04/05/2006

Suddenly and unexpectedly while vacationing in Florida on Saturday, April 1, 2006, in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Carmel (nee Stevens). Loving father of Richard (Terri), Heather (Andrew Bain) and the late Ronald. Cherished Pops to Lauren, William Wilson and Connor. Dear son of Julia and the late Neil MacKeigan. Dear brother of Jack (Joyce) and the late Ronald Babe . Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, on Friday, April 7, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9pm and on Saturday from 1pm until Service time in the Chapel at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre, where Bill was a proud volunteer, would be appreciated by the family.

Constance Lillian Massey (nee North) - 03/26/2006

Suddenly in hospital on Friday, March 24, 2006. Beloved wife of the late George Massey. Predeceased by her sisters Eunice and Nellie Florence. Survived by her nieces Gwendolyn (Drew) and Elaine, and many nieces and nephews in England. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Thursday, March 30, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Graveside Service will be held at Parklawn cemetery , Toronto on Friday, March 31, 2006 at 3pm. Special thanks to Patricia and the staff of The Glebe Centre for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations to Rideau Park United Church would be appreciated.

Suddenly on March 27, 2006 at the age of 51. Beloved wife of 23 years to Henry Matthews of Navan. Cherished daughter of Jean-Jacques and Mariette and the late Anita Dumais. Adored sister of Jocelyne, Francine and Suzanne (Don St. Denis). Dear daughter-in-law of Hazel (late Richard Matthews) and best friend to Diane Melski and Joanne Burden. She will be missed by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and co-workers at Loeb where she worked for over 25 years. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway on Thursday, March 30, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Mary Anglican Church, Navan on Friday, March 31, 2006 at 11 a.m. The Family would like to thank Dr. Gauthier, Dr. Lavoie and the 4th floor S nursing staff of the Montfort Hospital for their care and compassion as well as to Pascale Rinfret for her support during this time. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society (Relay for Life) are greatly appreciated.

Robert (Bob) Howard Mellor - 04/06/2006

Peacefully, with family at his side, on April 5, 2006 in his 71st year. Beloved and cherished husband of Janice Mellor. Predeceased by his first wife Margaret. Dearest father of Todd, Lori (Keith) and Kirk (Darlene). Loving Bompa to P.J., Justin, Megan, Kelsey, Daniel and Amanda. Dear brother of Lois, Barry and Gary (Margaret Anne). He will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. An Ottawa native, Bob was a well known newspaper man, writing for the Ottawa Citizen, Ottawa Journal, Ottawa Today and most recently as news editor for The Low Down To Hull And Back News. He was also a proud member of the National Press Club for 30 years, and served as a Director. An avid skier, Bob was active in the Canadian Ski Patrol and for many summers sailed in the Thousand Islands. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the caring staff at the Elizabeth Bruyere Centre and Ottawa Hospital, with special thanks to Palliative Care doctors John Seely and Sandra Legault. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Sunday, April 9 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 10 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary s Catholic Church, 100 Young Street. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the SCO Health Service Foundation.

Suddenly in hospital on March 29, 2006 at the age of 74. Predeceased by parents Arnold and Alta Moffatt and by brother Richard. Survived by brothers Robert (June) of Nanaimo, BC and James (Peggy). According to Allan's wishes, private cremation and interment will be held at Dales cemetery , Cumberland at a later date.

Peacefully in hospital in Ottawa on Saturday, April 1, 2006, age 52. Loving and beloved wife of David Montgomery. Dearest daughter of Grace and the late Mario Camardo. Devoted sister of Frank. Dear friend of Lisa Montgomery and Marnie Montgomery. Friends may visit at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, Ontario on Tuesday, April 4th and Wednesday, April 5th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 15347 Yonge Street North, Aurora on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 10 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross cemetery , Thornhill. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

RN, Class of 1948, Civic Hospital Peacefully in hospital on Wednesday, April 5th, 2006 in her 81st year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Stefan Oancia. Loving sister of Mildred (Harold Walsh), the late Laura (the late George Berndt) and the late Ada ( the late Toby Lowe). Sister-in-law of Eleanor Oancia. She will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeid Street on Sunday, April 9th from 12noon until service time in the Chapel at 2pm.
