Douglas McIntosh
On Monday, April 7, 2003 at his residence in his 74th year. Fondly remembered by Helen and his son Brad of Toronto. Dear brother to Harold and his wife Edna of Oakville, Jean MacKenzie of Revelstoke, B.C. and the late Ruth McIntosh and Marion Morris. Survived by his nieces Mary Ellen, Karen and Valerie and nephews Tim, John, Bart, Lyle and Rick. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Service in the chapel Thursday at 1 p.m. Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.

Heather Lucko (nee Risto)
After a courageous battle with cancer, Heather passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, April 10, 2003. Beloved wife to David and loving mother of Andrew. Beloved daughter of Dorothy and Gerald Risto. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Carol and Elizabeth. Dear daughter-in-law of Anne, sister-in-law of Terry and Faye, and aunt of Kevin and Brian. She will be sadly missed by many loving relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Donna Hackett-Wilson as well as Dr. David Swartz. Peacefully, on Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in Burlington. Beloved husband of the late Helen Barbara. Dear father to Richard and his wife Bonnie of Mississauga and Barbara Dezeeuw and her husband Marty of Oakville. Dear grandfather to Sharon Ross (Barry), Laurie Danner (Steve) and great-grandfather to Matthew and Grace. Sadly missed by his brother Ben and sisters Mary and Rita. David Kurt
passed away suddenly at home on April 14, 2003 at the age of 56. Lovingly remembered by daughter Melody and her husband James, grandchildren Jackson and Sam and their grandmother Suzanne, and son Warren. Survived by his wife Christine, brother Jim, sister Dorothy and their families and special friend Betty. Predeceased by his mother Viola, father Earl, brother Douglas and dad Alvin Bauman. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Thursday and Friday from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Private family interment at Memory Gardens cemetery , Kitchener. Margrot Hunt (nee Leith)
passed away suddenly on April 14, 2003 at the age of 43. Beloved wife of Edward. Loving mother to Matthew. Lovingly remembered by her parents James and Carole Leith and brother Marc. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Peacefully at Sea (Livorno, Itay) on Tuesday, October 1st, 2002 at the age of 66 years. Gary, most cherished husband of Faye Wood of Mississauga, Ontario. Beloved father of Kathryn Adams and husband Dan of Collingwood, Michael Wood and wife Cathy of Stayner, Linda Greer and husband Mark of Mansfield, Greg Wood and wife Antonella of Ayr, Matthew Wood and wife Marnie of Mississauga. Beloved step-father of Kelly Franklin and husband George of St. Thomas, Charles Tallon and wife Michelle of Toronto. Proud grandpa of Crystal, Victoria, Stephanie, Troy; Michael Jr., Kristina, Miranda, Brittany, Adam, Michael; Joshua, Micayla, Bacchaeus, Daniel, Christian, Jason, Jamie. Great-grandpa to Alyssa. Gary had a full life during which he served 15 years in the RCAF, brokered a successful real estate business, was a dealer principal of an automobile franchise and most recently owned and operated a successful finance referral company. Remembered by all as a family man and kind friend. Loved by all who knew him. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. followed by a service at Lakeshore Pentecostal Church at 7:30 p.m. Cremation. Barbara Maillet (Babs)
Peacefully at her residence on October 4, 2002 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerry. Cherished mother to Helen Parlee (Vince), Gloria and Blanche Canning (John). Loving nana to 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her many relatives, friends and especially by her sister Jean and brother Bob. William Richard (Bill) Carnegie
Peacefully at Lakeshore Lodge on Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at the age of 85. Retired CN Railway employee and WW2 Canadian Navy Veteran. Bill was the beloved husband for 61 years of Helen, dear dad of Richard (Carol Ann) of Parksville, B.C., James (Joyce) of Kitchener, Ont. and Susan of Oakville. Loving gramps to Holly (Dr. Kevin) of Hamilton, Tim (Kristina) of Ottawa, Andrew, Amy and Adam of Kitchener. Dearest great-gramps to Zoe, Tessa and Kaeden, and Jordan. Will be fondly remembered by many other family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Mimico Presbyterian Church (corner of Mimico Ave. and Royal York Rd.) on Saturday, October 12, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or Mimico Presbyterian Church would be deeply appreciated by the family.

On Sunday, October 13, 2002 at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, Angie Marie Tscherkalin born August 31, 1966 at Sault Ste. Marie. Dearly beloved wife of Frank Carricato and loving mother of Frankie, Tyler, and Skye. Lovingly remembered by her parents Lawrence and Helen Tschekalin, and her grandparents Michael and Mary Tschekalin and Mike and Mary Vovk (deceased). Dear sister of Mike Tschekalin, his wife Jacquie and their son Michael, John Tschekalin, Terry Tschekalin, Kristy Tschekalin, Larry Tschekalin and his wife Vicky. Also remembered by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ralph and Sharon Carricato, sister-in-law of Ralph, Charles and Mike. Remembered by her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, and special aunt to Sheldon and Chelsea and special friend to many. Angie was kind, loving and loved life and was devoted to her children and family. She was always full of hope and was a brave courageous fighter up to the end. Anne was a long-time employee of Campbell Soup Co. Ltd.
