Ramon Malayny
Unexpectedly at his residence Ray passed away. Survived by his sisters Stella Rizun of Guelph, Rosalia Kondusky of St. Catherines and brother James of California. He will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and family. Private family services.

Janet Clunie (nee Blair)
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Janet Clunie at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, on July 27th, 2005, in her 83rd year. Loving wife of the late John Arthur Clunie, and loving mother of David, Jack and Bill and his wife Susan. Sadly missed by grandchildren Ian and his wife Patricia, Catherine and her husband Daniel and great-grandson Drake. Dear sister of Margaret, May, John, Bill, and the late James. She will be lovingly remembered by many other family and friends. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Thursday from 6 to 9 pm. A Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, July 29, 2005 at 11am. Cremation.

Robert “Bob” Chute
passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2005 after a valiant struggle, surrounded by his family. Survived by his wife Suzanne. Bob will be remembered by his sister-in-law Judy Duck, sister Donna Rowley and brother William Chute. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Nickolaus Eisfeld
Quite suddenly in his 72nd year, Nickolaus Eisfeld passed away at the Mississauga Hospital early Saturday morning, June 2, 2007. Loving husband of Pauline Eisfeld. Dear father of Robert, Paul and his wife Louise, Susan and her husband Philip, David and his wife Beata. Loving Opa of Patrick, Geoffrey, Adam, Sarah, Mark, Amy, Megan, Joshua and Emma and great grandfather to Jace. Visitation will be held at Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (at 14th St.) on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service at Martin Luther Church, 2379 Lake Shore Blvd W, on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 11 a.m. will be followed by a reception at the church. Afterwards, a graveside service will be held at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Kathleen M. Pleasants
Peacefully on Friday, June 1, 2007 at Toronto Grace Hospital at the age of 92. Beloved daughter of the late Percy and the late Edith. Dear sister of the late Dorothy Stewart and the late Connie Winter. Loving “Auntie Kay” to Sue McCallum, Bruce Stewart and Jim Stewart. Proud great-aunt to Derek, Brad, Mike, Colleen and Heather. Fondly remembered by numerous family and friends. Memorial Service will be held at Alderwood United Church, (44 Delma Drive in Etobicoke), on Saturday June 9, 2007 at 1 p.m. Cremation.

Peacefully on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at the William Osler Health Centre, Etobicoke Site. Julia, beloved wife of John. Loving mother of Irene and her husband Roman Zakaluzny and Oleh and his wife Roze. Julia will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Roman W and his wife Jamie, Andrew, Danylo, Olivija, Sonija and Simon. Julia will be missed by her family in Ukraine and is predeceased by her 11 sisters and 1 brother. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. Peacefully on Monday, June 4th 2007 at the Trillium Health Centre Mississauga Site, surrounded by three generations of his family. Malcolm is predeceased by his wife Marion. Loving father of Kenneth, David and his wife Susan and Howard and his wife June. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Samantha, Leslie, Jamie, Stephen, Mark, Michael, Tiffany and his great grandchildren Laura and Mackenzie. Evangeline “Doreen” Wallace

Jean Adams (nee LaBrash)
After a lengthy illness, in Toronto, in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband Arthur. Loving mother to Ron, John and Melodie. She will be sadly missed by her 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Muriel Graham and many friends. A special thank you to the staff of the 4th floor at Lakeshore Lodge and Doctors Padnaew and Longsteiner. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. Paul Mehle
Died Monday, June 18, 2007 at St. Michael’s Hospital in his 82nd year. Born in Trzic, Slovenija. Beloved husband of Ivanka (nee Sterle). Son of the late Alojzij and Katarina (nee Mersol). Brother of the late Andrej, Ivan and Alojzij in Slovenija. Dear brother-in-law of Martin and family. Also survived by other family in Slovenija and the U.S.A. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. On Sunday, June 24, 2007 at Toronto General Hospital, Marianna, in her 82nd year. Dear sister of Janet Wozniak of Toronto and Jadzia and Bronisla both in Poland. Sadly missed by her niece Barbara and her husband Andre and nephew Rick and his wife Sue and their sons David and Jonathan. Ed Hester (Edgar Neil)
Edgar’s family is deeply saddened to announce his death on June 25, 2007 at the age of 88. Beloved son of the late Lloyd and Florence (Hope) Hester (Arthur) and cherished husband of Jean (Junke). Loving Dad to “the boys”, Bill and his wife Sue, Glen and his wife Mary, Neil and his wife Vicky. Very proud Grandpa of Ian (Kealey), Barry (Lisa), Ken (Liane), Brian Robert, and Kim. He served with the RCAF overseas in England, was a valued Zurich Insurance Company employee for 44 years, and will be missed by friends in the Greenbush Hunt Club. A service will be held at the Church of the Atonement (256 Sheldon Ave., Toronto, M8W 4X8) at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday June 28, followed by a private family burial in Mount Pleasant, Brantford Township. The family wishes to thank the caring staff of the McCall Centre for helping us through our last year with Edgar. If desired, a memorial donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the McCall Centre for Continuing Care would be appreciated.
