passed away peacefully at the Edinburgh Retirement Residence on Sunday April 9th, 2006 in her 97th year. Beloved sister of the late Marjorie G. Hudson and Dr. Doris Stuart Runciman. She spent her career as an executive secretary with the Rockefeller Charitable Foundation in New York City. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Thursday April 13th from 10:30 a.m. until service time in the chapel at 11:30 a.m. Interment to take place at Woodlawn cemetery , Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, later in the Spring. Dear brother of Emily Heculuck of North Bay, Kenneth Shoultz (Doris) of Ottawa and Marguerite Young (John) of St. Catharine s. Predeceased by brother Murray. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. John will be dearly missed by Anita Guerin and her sons Stephen and Isaac. John was a proud volunteer for many years at the Shepherd s of Good Hope. The Funeral Mass will be held at Ste-Genevi ve Roman Catholic Church, 835 Canterbury Avenue, Ottawa on Monday, April 10, 2006 at 11am. A Graveside Service will be held at Victoria Lawn cemetery in St. Catharine s on Monday, May 1, 2006 at 11am. Loving brother of Wesley and predeceased by Clarence, Gladys, Ernest, Bertha, Margaret and Victor. Albert will be missed by many friends. Al served in World War II as a Radar Operator with the RCAF; 43 years of faithful service with The Mutual Life of Canada. Peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on April 11, 2006, at age 88. Beloved wife for over 60 years of Verne. Loving mother of Ilea and her husband Andr Leroux, Judy and her husband Nelson Missbach, and Margo and her husband Alan Sippel. Proud grandmother of Ian and Yves Leroux. Also survived by her brother Robert Benson of Whitby. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff on the second floor of Garden Terrace in Kanata, and the superb palliative team from the Community Nursing Registry for their dedicated and compassionate care. Above all, the family is profoundly grateful to Dr. Louise Coulombe for her exceptional commitment, empathy, and support. Ian was the best friend and husband of Jennifer Ross-Tolton, the greatest dad to his baby daughter Harper, and much loved friend to Micah the dog. Loved son of Marie and the late Harold Tolton of Richmond, Ontario, brother to Jennifer (Michael Whiten) and Eden (Mark Poirier). Uncle of Michael, Nicole and Dylan Poirier and Kathleen Ross. Son-in-law of Bruce and Gill Ross of Toronto. Ian loved us all very deeply and we will love him forever. A service will be held at St. Matthew's Anglican Church, 217 First Avenue, Ottawa on Friday April 7th, 2006 at 3pm, followed by a reception.
