(Nancy) Agnes Evangeline Bryce, a former resident of Wallaceburg passed away unexpectedly at her home in Scarborough on Thursday April 29, 1999 in her 68th year.
Beloved daughter of the late Bob and Penny Bryce. Loving sister of Margaret and her husband Ray Martin of Ottawa. Dear Aunt of Judy Stafford of Saskatoon and Susan Martin of Ottawa. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Brian Horrobin on Monday May 3rd at 10 o clock in the morning. The interment followed at Riverview cemetery. The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street, (at Elgin) in Wallaceburg.
SHIRLEY R. BLACKBIRD
Shirley R. Blackbird passed away in Wallaceburg in her 26th year. Daughter of Rose (Antone) Blackbird and William R. Blackbird (Asikinack). Sister of Casey, Adrian, Russell, Jamie and Clarence of Walpole Island. Granddaughter of Russell Antone and the late Eula Cornelius and Simeon & Adeline Sword. She will be remembered by several aunts, uncles and cousins.The family received relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street (at Elgin), in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday. The funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, May 5th at 2 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Walpole Island. Interment followed at Highbanks cemetery.
WILLY G. DUBUQUE
Mr. Willy G. Dubuque a lifelong resident of Wallaceburg passed away on Monday, April 26, 1999 at his home at the age of 53 years. Willy was born in Chatham, and was a son of the late Jules Dubuque and Josephine Martin. He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Wallaceburg, a member of the St. Vincent De Paul s Society, a member and director of the Optimist Club and had worked as a machine operator at Libbey Canada Inc. in Wallaceburg for the past 36 years. Beloved husband of 27 years to Norma (Jenkins) Dubuque. Dear father and father-in-law of Tonda and Henry Griffioen of Port Lambton, Stephanie and Steve Boudreault of Wallaceburg and George and Wendy Dubuque of Chatham. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Tara, Derrek, Jonathan, Skyler and Alyssa. Kind brother and brother-in-law of Eva and Alphy Blair, Cecilia Leveille, Elaine Jenkins, Joe and Leona Dubuque all of Wallaceburg and Fred and Ada Mae Dubuque of Dresden. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Anna Meloche and a brother Ozi Dubuque. The late Willy G. Dubuque rested at the ERIC F. NICHOLLS FUNERAL HOME 639 Elgin Street, Wallaceburg until Friday, April 30, 1999 when the funeral proceeded to Our Lady Help of Christians Church for the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. John Pirt, Celebrant. Mrs. Frances Fraleigh presided at the organ and the Church Choir sang the Mass. Pall Bearers were Ron McLean, Matt Van Zelst, Gary Dubuque, Andy MacMillan, David Blair and Joe Leveille. Interment was in Riverview cemetery , Wallaceburg. Parish Prayers were offered at the funeral home Thursday evening at 8 p.m. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or C.H.A.P. may be left at the funeral home. As a living memorial a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Willy G. Dubuque.

Gorden R. Chaffe of Simcoe Street, Tillsonburg passed away at St. Joseph s Hospital, London on Saturday May 1, 1999 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Marguerite (Simpson) Chaffe. Dear father of 2 daughters, Leatha Clark and her husband Austin of Ottawa and Freida McAvoy and her husband The Rev. John McAvoy of Windsor. Dear grandfather of 4 grandchildren, Catherine McKee and her husband Tom of Ottawa, Richard Clark of Ottawa, Matthew and Andrew McAvoy of Windsor, and great grandfather of Christopher and Amanda McKee. Predeceased by 2 brothers, Elmore and Lloyd Chaffe.
Resting at OSTRANDER S FUNERAL HOME, Tillsonburg for funeral service to be held in the Chapel on Wednesday May 7, 1999 at 11 a.m. with The Rev. Laverne Jacobs of the St. John s Anglican Church, Walpole Island and The Rev. John McAvoy of the St. Matthew s Anglican Church, Windsor officiating. Visitation to be held Tuesday 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. conducted by the Loyal Orange Lodge #254 Glen Meyer-Tillsonburg. Memorial Donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation gratefully acknowledged.
