Born in Ottawa July 9th, 1922. Peacefully in hospital on Friday, April 7th, 2006 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Norman McLean. Dear mother of Dr. James G. Anderson and Carol Anderson. Loving sister of H. James Plant (Sherrie). Sadly missed by step-children Tom (Judy), Jane (Guy) and nieces Marilyn (Andy Burans), Barbara (Graham Clarke) and Shirley Plant. Sadly remembered by grandchildren, grand-nephews and grand-nieces. Isabel was educated at Ottawa Ladies College and graduated with an honour degree from Queen s University. She was involved with the I.O.D.E. for many years and was a member of the Royal Ottawa Golf Club. She was a noted creator of beautiful china and worked industriously when in residence at her beloved cottage in Norway Bay. Of Ottawa and formerly Montreal, passed away in Ottawa on Saturday April 8th, 2006 at the age of 76, after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by his wife Marina, son Russell and two sisters, Irene (Dr. Charles Bird) of Kingston, Beverly of Knowlton, Quebec and numerous nieces and nephews. Retired Transport Canada Public Affairs. Owner, Norm Pascoe Associates. Served many years as a journalist with The Montreal Star. Lt-Cdr, CD, ret d, Royal Canadian Naval Reserve. Life-long member of Scouts Canada, mainly as a youth leader. Honorary Life Member of the RCMP Curling Club with many devoted to instructing and coaching youth curlers. Marshal of Pine View Golf Course. Norm was a long-time resident of Manor Park. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Barbara, her son-in-law Tom Sacco, as well as her beloved cats, dogs and horses. She spent her career as an executive secretary with the Rockefeller Charitable Foundation in New York City.
