The death occurred of Olive Duffield on April 18, 2011 at her home at the age of 89.
Olive was born in London, England on January 24, 1922. Dear daughter of Florence and Robert Lilley and sister to Pat (Bob McTavish). Olivemarried
John Duffield (deceased 1984) on June 14, 1941 in London and emigrated to Canada in 1949.
Beloved Mum to Christine Russell, Stephen (Kathy) and Sue (Don Campbell). Dear grandmother of David (Nicole), Debbie (Keith Bechtel), Lisa (Ron Godfrey), Jesse (Carla) and Katie (Mike). Special great-grandmother to Olivia and Noah Russell, Kassidy, Thomas and Josh Bechtel, Karli and Alana Marshall, Taylor and McKenzi Mitchell. Dear Aunt to Roger, Paul and Judy, and families.
Olive enjoyed employment in retail and banking, but mostly enjoyed homemaking, especially her garden. Olive and John retired to Muskoka in 1982 to be closer to family, who, after John's sudden death, were her source of comfort and "oy's". Olive was always happiest when the grandchildren and great-grandchildren gathered for family events. Olive also enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Society in Huntsville for several years.

A reception will follow at Trinity United Church.
