The death occurred at the Ottawa General Hospital on Saturday, January 26, 2013 of Karen L. Sheehan.
Cherished daughter of Jack and Donna Ashby, companion of David Hodges and dear sister of the late Cathy Ashby. Karen will be lovingly remembered and missed by all of her family and friends.
Visitation for Karen Sheehan will be held at the Mitchell Funeral Home on Monday, February 4th from 6 to 8 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at Bethel Pentacostal Tabernacle on Tuesday, February 5th at 1 pm. A reception will follow. Spring interment at Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, doantions to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated.

Emily Lloyd
The death occurred at her home in Huntsville on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 of Emily Annie Rosalind Lloyd. Partner of the late Lorne Degeer and mother of Ken Lloyd and his wife Heather of Huntsville.
At Mrs. Lloyd's direction, there will be no public service.

Michael Clayton Groh
The death occurred suddenly at the Huntsville District Memoprial Hospital on Monday, August 5, 2013 of Michael Clayton Groh at the age of 55. Dear son of Brian and Beatrice Groh of Huntsville. Father of Trevor and Steven. Brother of Kathy and her husband Kevin Jiggins and Peter Groh and his wife Tracy Hanson.
A private family gathering was held.

Audrey Pearl Dorrance
Audrey Pearl Dorrance (nee Bain) passed away Saturday, September 7th, 2013 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Stanley, loving mother of Donald(Joan), and cherished grandmother of Elisabeth of Brampton. Daughter of the late Walter and Pearl Bain of Windham Township, Norfolk County. Predeceased by brother Robert, and sister Shirley Simpson, survived by sister Jessie McBride(Ross).
Audrey was a graduate of the Hamilton General Hospital School of Nursing (1951) and worked in hospitals in Tillsonburg, Peterborough Civic and the Hamilton T.B. San. She also worked in B.C. at Kamloops and Merritt Hospitals. Audrey graduated with a diploma in public health nursing (1958) from the University of Western Ontario, London, and worked at North Western Health Unit, Kenora, Burlington Health Unit, and 20 years at Huntsville office of the Muskoka Perry Sound Health Unit.
Audrey enjoyed reading and keeping in touch with former colleagues.
She was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, and Muskoka Seniors, Huntsville.

Lola Longpre
With her loving family by her side in Kitchener on Saturday, August 10th, 2013 at the age of 85, Lola Longpre, wife of the late Jean Guy.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Christine Longpre (Jim Buckwald), Louise Thomson (Bob), Melinda Condon (Dennis), Pierre "Frenchie" (Brenda), Andre and Nelson (Pat). Predeceased by her infant son Jean Guy, Lola leaves precious memories with her 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also lovingly remembered by her only living blood relative Ellard Beaven.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 12 Centre Street North, Huntsville on Tuesday, September 10th, 2013 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in St. Mary's church hall.
Gerald Charles O'Reilly
The death occurred at Algonquin Grace Hospice, Huntsville on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 of Gerry O’Reilly. Beloved husband of Norma (nee Grosso) of Huntsville. Dear father of Danny (Bonnie), Gerry (Janet), John (Sonia) and Paul (Elsa). Grandfather of Matthew, Michael, Meagan, Lauri, Justin and Ryan.
Visitation for Mr. Gerry O’Reilly will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 3-6 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 11am in the Addison Chapel of the Mitchell Funeral Home.

C. Richard Benson
Born April 9, 1945 in Toronto and died August 28, 2013, age 68 in Huntsville, ON surrounded by his family. Always fondly attached to his family’s Newfoundland roots. Husband of beloved wife, Ann for 44 years. Will be sadly missed by daughters Cathy (Adam Grills) and Adrienne (Colin Peden), and grandsons Austin and Ethan Grills, and brother David Benson of Chatham, as well as many other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rick spent his early years in Essex, ON, attending Essex District High School and then graduating from St. Andrew’s College Aurora, and York University (1970).
His early business career included Gulf Oil Canada, Benson & Hedges Canada, and Green Giant Limited, at which time he had the good fortune to be hired by Charles Scott, as director of Marketing at Dominion Dairies (Sealtest), and continuing with Charlie through a variety of positions both at Dominion Dairies and later Ralston Purina.
In 1986, Rick, with the support of his wife Ann, took a huge gamble, and left the corporate world to become entrepreneur, moving to their cottage in Huntsville, Muskoka. Rick and Ann’s companies contracted with the M.N.R. at a number of locations for 13 years. Rick was also involved in a number of real estate projects and developments, as well as purchasing a highway service centre from Imperial Oil, and turning the business back into a successful operation. Subsequently, after selling that service centre, Rick invested with a couple of like-minded businessmen, in building and managing office buildings in Muskoka. Rick is very grateful for the support and close friendship of Elaine and Michael Faye, Rupert and Christine Brendon, and his friend and business partner, John O’Rourke.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the MITCHELL FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, September 7th, 2013 from 2-4pm. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated.
Danny Lahaie
The death occurred in Huntsville of Monday, October 28, 2013 of Danny Lahaie at the age of 77 years.BornNovember 4, 1936 in Shawinigan, Quebec the son of James and Marian Lahaie. He is survived by his daughter Lita (David) Miller, grandchildren Tabitha Miller and David Miller Jr. and great grandson Dylan Miller. Long time companion of Allison Olivier and her children Debbie (Dennis) Olivier, David Olivier, Brian Olivier, Michelle Olivier and her grandchildren Paige, Caitlyn, Brooke, Jordan, Brittany and Brandon. Good friend to Bertha Lupton and Jeff Hastings.
Danny retired from Molson Brewery and a career in music. He was on CKVR TV, Barrie on the Erine Lindell Show which was renamed, Make Mine Country. He also played at the Sprucedale Hotel, Ireland Seven Seas in Wasaga Beach, the Huntsville Legion, Burk’s Falls and the Albion Hotel, Bracebridge. He loved music and his family were all musically inclined. In addition to music his other interest were renovating houses and some travelling.
Cremation has taken place as per Danny’s wishes. Memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the C.N.I.B.
FETTERLY, Dorothy Edna
The death occurred at Muskoka Landing, Huntsville, on Sunday, November 3, 2013. Dorothy Fetterly loving daughter of the late Wilfred Garfield Fetterly and Hazel (nee Head). Sister of the late Adele Fetterly.
Dorothy graduated from Victoria College, University of Toronto in Commerce and Finance. She was employed by A.V. Rae and then for many years as a Civil Servant of the Province of Ontario.
She enjoyed concert-going, live theatre and her bridge club. Her love of skiing took her to Western Canada and Austria.
Muskoka was the essence of her being. She enjoyed cottaging both at her own spot and also at friends' cabins. She participated in collecting statistics on loon populations. Other interests included tennis, golf and many, many hours of reading.
Hazel Perrier
