MILLER, David Ronald - passed away at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario on Sunday June 21st 2009 of RR#4 Waterford in his 68th year. Loving spouse of Barbara Moore. Loving father of David (& Kandy) Miller, Wendy (& Derek) Budney, Stephanie (& Steven) Benson. Survived by sisters Norma (& Herb) Grabham, Eva (& Pat) O'Rielly, brother Bruce (& Gloria) Miller. Sadly missed by stepchildren John (& Terrilyn) Moore, Katherine Postill, Jackie (& Dean) Judge, James (& Frank) McIntyre, Gerald Moore, 21 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Hugh & Thelma Miller, & brother Bud Miller. Ronald was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose 1827. A Memorial Service for Ron will be held Friday at 2pm at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation. MORRIS, Georgette (nee Cartier) - With thankfulness for a life long and well lived the family of Georgette Morris announce her peaceful passing at the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, June 18, 2009 in her 96th year. She was predeceased by her loving husband Bill (1982), her eldest daughter Lillian (1991), and her eldest son Ron (1997). She is survived and will be missed by her daughters Elaine, Lynne Garn (Victor) and by her son Rick (Linda). She will be fondly remembered by her 12 grandchildren and her 10 great- grandchildren. She will be remembered by her loving niece Sandra and her husband Tom of London. Many thanks to Paul McKnight for his loyal friendship, trust and helpfulness. WEATHERBEE, Muriel (Sloan) - in her 75th year, passed away quietly at Hamilton General Hospital on June 20, surrounded by the love of her family. Left behind to remember her kind heart and caring nature are Derald, her husband of 57 years, sons David (Deb) of London, Dan (Trudy) of Wilsonville, DJ (Alice) of Brantford, and daughters Joyce Hutson (Ken) of Brantford and Norma-Lee (Donald Kennedy) of Elverta, CA. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, brother Jim Sloan (Pauline) Mt. Pleasant, sisters Audrey Stanley (Verne) Mt. Pleasant and Maryann Sloan (Kitchener) and many nieces and nephews. She raised her family in Scotland for 22 years where she and Derald were instrumental in introducing the Boy Scout movement to the youth of the community in 1959. Her door was always open, the coffee always on and her ears always ready and willing to listen to the trials of anyone who sat at her table. At her request, cremation has already taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Stedman Hospice or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. There will be a celebration of her life at the South Brant Legion.
