FLINN, John Ferguson - (professor U of T) - Suddenly at his home on Sunday June 14th, 2009 in his 89th year. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Margaret, and his siblings; Isobel, Margaret, Wesley, Lillian and Edward. Survived by his nephew John and wife Valerie and his sister-in-law Lilyan Flinn of Belleville. John will be missed by Donald and Mary Ritchie of Burlington, his Robson cousins of Durham, and his many friends and colleagues. RAINVILLE, Lucien (1945-2009) - The family announces with sorrow his death, Sunday, June 7, 2009 in Sturgeon Falls, at the age of 64 years. Son of the late Alphonse Rainville and the late Anita (née Arbour) Rainville. Loving husband of Thérèse (née Gagnon) Rainville of Lavigne. Dear brother of Florian (Pierrette), Noëlla (Claude Lamarche) both of Sudbury, Gisèle (Fernand St Georges) of Lavigne, André (Cécile) of Hanmer, Maurice (Pauline) of Val Caron, Denis (Ginette), Françine (Jean Paul Giroux), Pierrette (Guy Piette) all of Verner. Predeceased by his brother Edgar (late Diane). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Lucien was employed by the Municipality of West Nipissing, Parks and Recreation Department. GERMAIN, Richard “Rick“ - It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Richard “Rick“ Germain, aged 44 years of Corunna on Sunday, May 24, 2009. Loving husband of 22 years to Nora. Devoted father of Kristine and Andrew. Beloved brother of Dan (Annie) Germain of Sarnia, Don (Kerry) Hubbard of Chatham and Eric Hubbard of Sarnia. Also survived by; his father, Roger Germain; his mother-in-law, Jean McGinty; his brother-in-law, John McGinty; his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth (Pete) St. Pierre and Rose Ann (Dave) Friesen; his aunt, Rosie Keenan and by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by; his mother, Wilma Hubbard (2000); his aunt, Corva Herbison (2008) and by his father-in-law, Fred McGinty (2001). Rick was a 20 year member of local #793 of the Operating Engineers and was employed at Sterling Cranes, was an honourary member of the St. Clair Fire Department, was a 15 year member, Third Degree Knights of Columbus Council #9447 - Corunna and was an avid bowler at Marcin Bowl with two career 300 games. Friends will be received at the KNIGHT FUNERAL HOME, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Tuesday from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church, Corunna on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Jan Pochwala celebrating. Cremation will follow with interment at a later date in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Corunna. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to St. Joseph's Church Building Fund.

WARREN, Ken - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ken Warren on the 23rd of May, 2009. Beloved husband of Denise, loving and devoted father of Monique and husband Paul of Whitby, Blake of Calgary and Patrick and wife Suzanne of Tottingham. Proud Poppa of Stephanie, Luke , Kendra, Annette, Chantal and Elise and great-grandfather to Matthew and Ryan. Survived by brother Jack and sister Nancy in Sudbury. Visitation prayer service will be held at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens in Whitby on Tuesday May 26th from 3:00 to 8:00pm. Memorial Mass and Internment will be followed at a later date in Sudbury. He was a brave and valiant man who cared deeply for his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

McINTYRE, Judith “Judy“ (nee Walsh) - In loving memory of Judith “Judy“ (nee Walsh) McIntyre, 57 years. It is with saddened hearts that the family announces the passing of a much loved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Judy passed away peacefully Thursday, May 28th, 2009 at the Southlake Regional Hospital, Newmarket, Ontario surrounded by the love of her family. She will be forever loved and missed by her son William (Sandra) and daughter Tammy (Ray) and grandchildren Brandon, Bryanna, Kyle and Tyler. Much loved sister to Linda Thurston (Ken), David Walsh (Dianne) and Brenda Wilson (Andy). Predeceased by her parents Clifton and Marie Walsh and the love of her life, Earl Belleau. She leaves behind wonderful memories of times shared with friends and family, she was always so grateful to everyone for being a part of her life. Judy was a long time employee of Garson Manor and Finlandia Nursing Home, where she strived to provide exceptional care and compassion to the residents and their families. Jessica Agnes ( Granny Jess) Hamilton
HAMILTON, Jessica Agnes ( Granny Jess) - Jessie passed away peacefully at the St. Josephs Health Centre on May 27, 2009. She was in her 86th year. Jessie leaves behind her devoted daughter Connie Watkinson, sister Caulene Cameron (David Blair) of Sault Ste Marie, ON, and Eleanor MacDonald, ( Ross MacDonald) of Oscoda Michigan. Grandson Bradley Watkinson (Donna) of Waterloo, On. Grand daughters Dawn Marie Watkinson of Sudbury, ON and Alana Watkinson of Salt Spring Island BC. Great Grandchildren, Cameron, Ryan and Erin share the sorrow of the loss. Jessie was predeceased by her parents Catherine (Kate) and Clair Cameron, and brother Wilfred Cameron. One of many accomplishments, Jessie attained her Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in archaeology and anthropology from Laurentian University in May 2003 at the age of 80. She enjoyed many years at her cottage on St. Josephs Island, and never passed up a game of cards. Much of Jessie's life was spent in Northern Ontario. Matheson was her home for many years. Special thanks to her niece Jackie Ring and family who helped keep her comfortable in her final hours, and Derek Weisenberg for being a good friend to all the family.
