At the Ottawa Civic Hospital November 11, 2012, Colleen Marion Windsor (nee McDonald) at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late William F. Windsor and from a previous marriage the late John Paul Dow. Loving mother of Glenn Dow (Debra), Grandmother of Nolan and Carleigh Dow and Jeremy Reese. She is predeceased by her parents John Ranald and Alice McDonald, one daughter Maureen Ann Reese (Terry) and one brother Frank McDonald. Colleen will be deeply missed by her aunts Annie MacLeod (Fraser), Irene McDonald, Francis Wylie (Eddie) and many cousins from the Glengarry, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan area. Colleen was a long time resident of Windsor, Ontario and a R.N. at the Windsor Western Hospital. She was also fiercely proud of her Scottish heritage and lived life to the fullest. It is with great sadness that André “Pappy” Cholette of Alexandria; age 49 years passed away tragically on May 24, 2013. André was born on December 27th, 1963 in Alexandria where he was a lifelong resident. Loving father to Chelsey-Ann and Zachary, children of Angela MacDonald. Dear brother of Lise Quesnel (Richard), Carole Lajoie (Remi), Denis (Denise), Diane Déguire (Claude), Robert (Monique), Gérald (Barbara), Johanne Pattyn (Ron) and Roch (Lori). “Mon Oncle Pappy” will be missed by many nieces and nephews and their children. Predeceased by his parents Germain Cholette and Claire Maheu and his brother Jean and sister Elaine. André was in a loving relationship with Joanne White. He always thought of others first, and was willing to help those in need. To think of André is to be reminded of his big smile, joyous laugh and generosity. How fortunate we are to have shared our lives with him. Pappy will be extremely missed by his loving children, all of his family and friends. Our Dad will rest in peace with Mémère and Pépère.
