Angelina Pereira (née Botelho)
December 03, 1922 - August 03, 2007

PEREIRA, Angelina - Peacefully with her loving family at her side, at St. Joseph's Hospital on Thursday, August 2, 2007, Angelina Pereira, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of her dear Manuel for 63 wonderful years of marriage. Loving mother of Armando and his wife Donna, Manuel and his wife Neves, Joe and his wife Nancy, Anibal and his wife Maria, and Tom and his wife Jodi. She will be greatly missed by her twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a brother, Jose Botelho. A special thank you to the staff of St. Joseph's Hospital. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Sunday 6-9 p.m. and Monday 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. with vigil prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary's Church on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The world has lost a beautiful soul and heaven now has his angel.

Abbondanza Beatrice (née Iapozzuto)
April 30, 1921 - August 01, 2007

Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her loving family, at Regina Gardens on Wednesday, August 1, 2007, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Antonio (1997). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Carmela and Nicola Cocca, Angelo and Flora Beatrice, Concetta and Antonio Costantini, all of Hamilton; Diodorina and Michele Soriano, Giuseppe and Antonietta Beatrice, Carmine and Maria Beatrice, all of Italy. Adoring Nonna of 15 grandchildren and Bisnonna of 18 great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Angelo and Antonia Beatrice. Predeceased by her sisters and brother Maria, Libera, Damiano and Filomena Iapozzuto. Abbondanza will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James), Friday 5-9 p.m. Vigil prayers 8 p.m. Funeral Mass Saturday 10:00 a.m. at All Souls Church. Olga Di Francesco
March 23, 1923 - July 25, 2007

DI FRANCESCO, Olga - Peacefully, after a brief illness, at McMaster Medical Centre on Wednesday, July 25, 2007, in her 84th year. Devoted daughter of the late Pasquale and Elina Di Francesco. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of the late Armando and Mary Di Francesco, Tillie and the late Tony Di Francesco, Angelo and Velma Di Francesco. Olga will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and special friend Annie. Special thanks to the staff of the I.C.U. McMaster Medical Centre. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) Saturday 7-9 p.m., Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Sunday at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Monday at 10 a.m. with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Joseph Pino Bucci
March 27, 1958 - August 01, 2007

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that the family announces Joe's sudden and unexpected passing, at the early age of 49, on Wednesday, August 1, 2007, as a result of a massive heart attack. Devastated by his passing are his best friend, life partner and wife of 26 wonderful years, Emily (nee Carbone) and the absolute pride and joy of Joe's life, his children, Adam, Matthew, Stephanie and Andrew. Also left to mourn his loss are Joe's parents Evelino and Renate Bucci and parents-in-law Leonardo and Fausta Carbone. Joe will always be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his younger brother Ray, and his little sister Gina Costantino, as well as his brothers and sisters-in-law Lou and Lisa Carbone, Tina Bucci, and Dave Costantino. Joe was a loving, active and doting uncle to Eric, Jessica, Daniel, Rebecca, Kayla, Christian, Brandon and Sarah. Joe's absence will also be felt by his aunts, uncles and cousins especially Zio Adelco, who is like a second father, as well as other family members and many, many great friends. Joe was a former employee of Stelco for 17 years, working his way up to plant foreman, before leaving to continue with the family business. Joe was a co-owner of The Bucci Group and was well known and very well respected in the residential home building communities of Burlington and Hamilton. Joe was also very active in sport. He enjoyed playing in the "old-timers" leagues in both hockey and soccer. He was active as a coach for many of his children's teams over the years. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Monday, August 6, 2007 from 3 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Regina Mundi Roman Catholic Church. Joe will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. We who knew and loved Joe also knew that his wife and children meant the world to him. For Emily, Adam, Matthew, Stephanie and Andrew, he was, and always will be, the centre of their world. Always in our hearts! Forever loved! Until we meet again! WE LOVE YOU DADDY FOREVER AND ALWAYS

Maria Annina Mastroluisi (née Lanza)
January 26, 1919 - August 04, 2007

It is with much sadness that the family of Mary Mastroluisi announces her passing on August 4, 2007 in her 89th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Nicholas Mastroluisi, Her brothers Joe LANZA and Jim LANZA. She is survived by her two sisters Ida ERCOLI Adele WETHERALL her sister-in-law Helen LANZA (in California) her brother-in-law Adam MASTROLUISI and his wife Vera. Missing her terribly will be her devoted nieces and nephews, Mary Ann MORRIS, Lou LANZA, Robert LANZA, Ray ERCOLI, Joseph LANZA, Lynda MATTHEWS, Robert LANZA (in California), Nanci VIRGINILLO, Ray BARTOLOTTI, Lori PRSA, Nick Mastroluisi, Rick Mastroluisi, Joanie MONCUR and all their spouses, as well as many grand-nieces and nephews. Our heartfelt thanks go to the many nurses and doctors at St. Joseph’s Hospital who looked after her. Your care and compassion for Mary, and our family at this time were greatly appreciated. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Dearly loved father of Serafina and her husband Richard Gava, Rosemarie Volo, Giovanna Volo and her husband Robert McMillan, and Charlene and her husband Graziano Di Cesare. Loving Nonno of Aaron, Brandon, Angelo and Sandro. Dear brother of Nena and Cologero Puma in Italy, and predeceased by many brothers and sisters. Survived by Maria and will be sadly missed by Denise Ward, Dante, Allegro and Chelsey. Eddie was a dedicated member of All Souls Church and an accomplished opera singer, as well as a vigorous supporter in the Italian community.
