March 30, 1928 - December 14, 2005

CARROLL, Albert - Peacefully at home with his loving wife Dolores at his side on December 14, 2005 in his 77th year, Beloved step-father and father to Mary, John and Brenda Auld, Laurence, Jim, Robert, Linda, David, Johanne and Rose-May Carroll. Sadly missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Resting at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place on Saturday in the funeral home Chapel at 10 a.m. Interment to follow to White Chapel Cemetery.

Francesco (Frank) Aquino
November 06, 1932 - December 10, 2005

Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Hamilton General Hospital on Saturday December 10, 2005 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Ann (LaRocca). Loving father of Ida (Danny) Donato and, Reno (Karen). Nonno will be cherished and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren David, Julianne, Francesco "Cesi", Jenna, Alison, and Brian. Nonno spent many happy hours teaching his granchildren about history, geography and politics. He loved life and people and passing on the legacy of music to his family. Son of the late Fiore (Ida Porco) Aquino. Brother and brother-in-law of Ernest (Connie) Aquino, the late Nick (Santina) LaRocca, Sam (Ninetta) LaRocca, Joe (Lorraine) LaRocca, Jenny (Paul) Tenace, and, Jim (Mary) LaRocca. Also survived by Uncle Ernesto (Sarah) Parco. Remembered by numerous relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff of the Hamilton General Hospital ICU and the Sam Program for their care and compassion. Thanks also to Bayshore Home Health care workers, especially Helen and Jane. Visititation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James Street) Monday and Tuesday 5 – 9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Tuesday at 5 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Eugene’s Church on Wednesday December 14, 2005 at 11 a.m. Entombment Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital, on Thursday, December 8, 2005, in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Mariangela. Dearest father and father-in-law of Gabriel and Nancy Riverso, Connie and Frank Battaglia, Pina and Alfonso DeLuca, Anna and Tony Grieci and the late Francesco Riverso. Adoring Nonno of Maria and Roberto Molinaro, Gelsie and Jerry Casella, Rosanna and Gianfranco Greco, Sam and Rose Battaglia, Frances and Lisa Battaglia, Laura and Carmine DeLuca, Patrizia, Tanya and Joseph Grieci. Bisnonno to Jonathan, Jordan, Frank and Marco. Suddenly at the Henderson General Hospital on Tuesday, October 18, 2005 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Rosa for 57 years. Dear father of Josie Dagostino and her husband Paul, Diana Burrows and her husband Frederick. Adoring Nonno of Peter, Tessa, and De`Lenn. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Grazia Gentile, the late Ida Gentile, Assunta and the late Guido Sicoli, Livia and the late Pierino Gentile, Angela and Giuseppe Perna, the late Pietro Spagnuolo, Raffaele and Michelina Spagnuolo, Paul and Dora Spagnuolo, Gerry and Teresa Spagnuolo, Teresa and Ernesto Spadafora, Frank and Franca Spagnuolo. Frank will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.Frank was the proud owner of Coloseum Shoes at Barton and Sherman Avenue for 42 years. A special thank you to Drs. March 01, 1935 - October 15, 2005

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lino, but it is with joy that he has found his place in his Heavenly home. After a short battle with cancer in his 71st year on Saturday, October 15, 2005 surrounded by his family. Much loved husband of Beverly, his lifelong friend and wife with whom he just celebrated 50 years of marriage. Beloved father of Patrick and Rhonda, Maria and Mike (Maille) and Julie and Kim (Aumais). Cherished grandpa, card player and fishing buddy of Nicholas, Rebecca (Steve), Justin, Tim (Natalie), Steven, Sam, Sally, Nathan and Rachel. Loving great-grandfather of Caden. Survived by his brothers, Nino (Vilma), Joseph (Gloria), sister Clara (Tony) Celi and sister-in-law Mary. Brother-in-law of Donna and Earl Grice and Ed and Joan Cooke. Predeceased by his parents Paolo and Marietta (Viola), sister Cecilia (Emilio) Sguigna, brothers Edo (Nina), Anthony and Lino Sr. Lino will lovingly be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lino, along with his wife Beverly, established NUSCA ELECTRIC LTD in 1958. With son Patrick, ACSUN Mobile Signs, and Pat/Lin Laundromat. Lino mentored many young men in the electrical trade business. He was a past president of the Hamilton District Electrical Contractors Association and a member of the Electrical Contractors Association of Hamilton. Lino was also a member of the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers #105. He was an active member with the Order of The Sons of Italy and involved as a loyal member/usher at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Lino enjoyed many years of fishing and cooking with his lifelong friends and cousins. The love and support shown to us throughout this difficult time has been a blessing. A very special thank you to Dr. Ross Allega for his dedication and compassionate care. Visitation will be held at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers at 4:30. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Our Lady of Assumption Church on Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Donations may be made to The Juravinski Cancer Centre, The Canadian Diabetes Association, The Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Canadian S.A.D.S. Foundation. Dino Bellavia
March 22, 1934 - October 12, 2005

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Dino Bellavia on Wednesday, October 12, 2005. Loving and cherished husband of Elizabeth for 44 years. Devoted father of Lisa Ramacieri (Paul), Michelle and Jason. Loving Nonno of Zarastiana, Alissa, Ethan and Mirabella. Dear brother of Gina Messina (Carmelo), Irene Ferlise (Matteo) of Canicatti, Sicily, Clelia Pizzolato (Joseph deceased), Joseph Bellavia (Adriana) and brother-in-law of Richard Hart. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and Sicily. Dino emigrated to Canada in 1951 from Canicatti, Sicily and made a beautiful life for his family, Dino was a loyal employee of Canada Pipe for 34 years where he served as USWA Local 8233 Union President for 16 years. He was a well-known and talented musician in the community for 50 years and an active member of the Sons of Italy for I5 years. He will be sadly missed by many friends and fellow musicians. After a courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis, with her family by her side, we sadly announce the passing of Andrea Lynn Ammerata on Wednesday October 5, 2005 in her 31st year. Much loved daughter of Diana De Angelis and Alfred Ammerata. Cherished sister of Nicole De Angelis. Cherished lovingly by her fiancé Michael Di Stefano. Dear granddaughter of Eugene and Severina Bortolanza, and Ida Ammerata. She will be sadly missed by her many relatives and friends. The family wishes to extend thanks to everyone who gave compassionate care to Andrea, with special thanks to Dr. Tullis, Dr. Chaparro and all the staff at St. Michael’s Hospital and Toronto General Hospital for their caring ways.
