passed away peacefully, at the Tendercare Nursing Home on Monday, July 21, 2003. Dear sister of; late Marion Kuittinen, late Freda Amos and the late Roy Kuittinen (late Anita). Dear aunt of; Jane Newman of Sault Ste. Marie, Liisa Peer of Ottawa and Pat Amos of London. Great aunt of Peter Newman and Kate Peer. A private family committal service was held on Friday, July 25, 2003 at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Finnish Resthome Association or the Art Gallery of Algoma would be appreciated by the family. (Arrangements entrusted to the Northwood Funeral Home 942 Great Northern Road 945-7758).

Great grandfather of Felicia Mickle, Brandon, Sheldon and Jordon St. Louis, Taylor, Spencer and the late Connor Shanahan. Brother of Annette Wilson (late Harold), Claire Plastino (late Clark), Ida Michaels (late Barney), Maurice Roberts (Shirley), Oris Roberts, Richard Roberts (Barbara), Barbara Plastino (late Nick) and the late Donald Roberts (late Florence), late Eileen Holly (Alex), late Violet Smith (late Ken), late Albert Roberts (Marj). Brother-in-law of May Ouellette (Don) and the late Harry Pomber (late Violet), late Lillian Stares (late Sid), late Willard Pomber (Lucy), late Lucille Gernon (late Ted), late Ben Pomber (late Coba), late Joe Pomber (late June). Great grandmother of Matthew, Amanda, Luke and Daniel Gourley, Amanda (Hicks) Moss (Brent), Abigail Hicks, Kevin Kainula, Michael Palanuk, Nicole Palanuk, Marcus Clarida, Nancy Ann and Christine Palanuk. Beloved daughter of the late Alfred and Catherine (Tallon) Tait. Sister of the late Joseph Tait of Stone Cliff Ont. and Rev Thomas P. Tait of Bryson Quebec. Cherished grandson of Dianne Collins (Robert), Terry Syrette, and Robert Syrette (Cindy). Great grandson of Raya Daigle and Hubert Corbiere. Dear nephew of Pamela Golden (Joe), Valerie Neshawabin, James Neshawabin (Dawn), Roger Neshawabin (Tammy), Jessica Desmond, Desni Syrette and Laura Syrette. Richard will always be remembered by many great aunts, uncles and cousins. Loving grandmother of 19, great-grandmother of 15 and great-great-grandmother of 1. Sister of Amelia Brooks (late William) and pre-deceased by Dollard Lebeouf (late Eve), Florence Levesque (late Aldege), Rudy Lebeouf (Alma) and Louis Lebeouf (Therese). Sister-in-law to many. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
