CLOUSTON, Edward (Eddy) Steven
Wednesday, December 01, 2004

passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 in his 44th year. Beloved son of Hazen and Ruth Clouston. Loving brother of Gladys (Veikko), John (June), Gerry (Wendy), Darlene (Carl) and Heather (Marc). A fondly remembered uncle and great uncle to many nieces & nephews. Also remembered dearly by many uncles, aunts and cousins. Eddy was an avid outdoor enthusiast, spending his weekends either hunting or fishing. He never turned down the opportunity to spend a weekend at camp. We believe that speckled trout and the partridge will breathe a little easier now! His battle was a long and tough one. Eddy tried his hardest to overcome his troubles, to be victorious over his disease, almost succeeding, but in the end the battle proved itself to be too great. Family and friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, December 3, 2003 from 7 – 9 pm. Funeral service from the chapel on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 12 noon. Rev. Mikko Tervo officiating. Memorial contributions to the Ken Brown Recovery Home or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Dear husband and cherished best friend of Florence Conway (Hawdon). Loving brother of Marilyn Conway. Beloved son of the late Alice and William A. Conway. Dear father of Bradley (Jennifer), Adam (Joy) and the late Ward. Special step-dad of Sandra, Cindy (friend Peter), Terry and Bruce Hawdon (Debbie). Grandfather of Eric. Bill had the joy to be Papa to Branda, Adam, Shauna, Jessica, Erica (Scott) and Elisha (Marc). Brother-in-law of Gerald Harten (Mary Lou), Clarence Harten (Diana), Noreen Townsend (late Cy), June Ann Gordon (late Mel), Nancy Littleton (Don) and Wynne McHardy (Duncan). Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, December 3, 2004 from 6-9 pm and on Saturday, December 4, 2004 from 1 pm until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 pm. Grandmother of: Kelly Cronin, Kristie Kovacs (Viktor), Nicole Cronin, Brent Cronin (Candace), Darcy Cronin (Kristin), Joel Lemarquand and James Lemarquand. Great Grandmother of: Taylor, Chloe, Lily and Victoria. Sister of: Earl Filion (Margaret), Hector Filion (late Ann), late Mel Filion (late Emily), late Bill Filion (Marion) and Eva Smith (late Dalton). Cherished sister of Linda Perem (Tonu), Lilli Timusk (Elmar), Luule Tiisler (Uno), Liisa Salzmann (Rob). Favourite aunt to David, Merike, Erik, Laura, Ingrid, Alexandra, and Michael. Special thanks to volunteers and nurses in the cancer clinic, and Dr. Spadafora and Dr. Buehner. A special thank you for the wonderful care by the nurses on the Palliative Care Floor. Friends may call the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 9 am until the time of the service in the chapel at 10 am. Rev. Krister Ulmanis officiating. passed away at Sudbury Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 30, 2004 at the age of 69. Father of Jamie. Brother of Jim. Uncle to Tim and Tom. Allan was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting and playing hockey. Most of all he loved spending his last few days having a coffee with his friends from Batchawana. At Allan’s request, cremation will take place. A private memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 from the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. Rev. Jim Moffat officiated. At Copper Ridge Lodge, Whitehorse, December 14, 2004 at 50 years of age, after a decade long battle with M.S. Dear son of Nell Rodger, brother of John (Mary Lou), Sheila, Nelda (Sergio), Ed (Laura), Carolyn (Steve), Patti (Mike) and Andrea (Al), late Janet (Art). Thom graduated from York University with Honours in Fine Art. He worked in Ottawa as a cartographer and graphic designer, later he moved to Whitehorse where he worked for the Dept. of Renewable Resources and where he was commissioned to create a number of public art installations, which are still on display in Whitehorse. Prayers led by Father Michael Anderson were followed by a celebration of Thom's life at Copper Ridge Lodge, Whitehorse. Memorial donations to Multiple Sclerosis Society gratefully accepted.

RUGGER, Patricia June (nee Bennett)

passed away peacefully December 26, 2004 at the Sault Area Hospital (Plummer) in her 83rd year. Survived by her son, Kip Rugger of Fort Garry, MB; daughter, Cynthia Rugger of Corvallis, Oregon; and brother, John Bennett of Sault Ste. Marie. Pat served her country in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. She was known for her love of animals, gardening, and literature. In respect of Pat's wishes, there will be no funeral service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to friends, neighbours, care workers, and hospital staff for their kindness and support.
