Loving father of: Rene (Norma), Pauline Fosberg (Stephen), Suzanne Hurley (Douglas), Cleo (Francoise), Leonel (Marie), Mitch (Diane) and Claude (Brenda). Cherished grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of: Irene, Rolande and Edward. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Helga and the late Verner Peterson. Brother of Alice Greco (late Carmen) of Toronto and Alfred Peterson (Nancy). Uncle of Mary Farrell (Steve), Paula Greco, Alisa Greco -Bytheway (Mark), Shelley, Lindsay and Eric Peterson. Private service was held in Atlin, B.C. "Somewhere a violin is playing".

Beloved husband of Maria Antonia (and the late Barbara Facciolo). Father of Joe, Tony, Nick (Tanya Smith), Liz and Marie Nicoletta (John). Grandfather of Domenic, David and Sarah Nicoletta and Sophia Ann Smith Fabiano. He will be missed by his brother and sisters: Peter (Lina), Grazia Gulli (Graziano), the late Liberata Pitaro (Antonio) all of Sault Ste. Marie, Caterina Gulli (late Vito) and Concetta Pitaro (Giuseppe), both of Chiaravalle Centrale (Catanzaro), Italy. He will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
