Peacefully at Algoma Manor, Thessalon on Wednesday, November 3, 2004 in her 90th year, wife of the late John “Bud” MacPhee. Loving mother of John (Nancy) of Scoggins, Texas, Adrienne Dresser (Bob) of Surrey, B.C., and Renee Bailey (Rob) of Thessalon. Special grandmother to Shannon, Michael, Julie, Victoria, Selena, Jennifer, Christina and great grandmother to Brady, Matthew, Nicola and Chance. Dear sister of Donelda Lalonde and sister-in-law of Rita Lalonde both of Cornwall, predeceased by brothers and sisters Emma, Rosanna, Armella, Victor, Amie and Irene, daughter-in-law Susan McPhee and son-in-law Wayne McCoshen. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Victoria will also be sadly missed by numerous close friends and daughters of the heart. After a valiant fight, died peacefully on Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at the age of 82 years, surrounded by his family at the Plummer Memorial Hospital. Paolino was the dear husband for 54 years to Emilia Rende. Loving father of Frank (Angela), Lina Cavaliere (Gino) and Rosemary Calcafuoco (John). Devoted grandfather of Paul Rende (Natasha), Jennifer Stocco (Tom), Jessica Rende, Nick and Sergio Cavaliere and Brian, Adam and Mark Calcafuoco. Proud great-grandfather of Michaela Rende. Son of the late Angela and Giovanni Rende. Brother of the late Nicola (late Pasqualina), the late Antonio (Anna), the late Maria Mattalo (late Frank), the late Rosina Rende and Vicenzina Brunone (Alberto). Son-in-law of the late Maria and Lorenzo Pucci. Brother-in-law of the late Carmela Lepore (late Lorenzo), Saverio Pucci (Raffaela), Frank Pucci (Antonietta), Enrico Pucci (Lillian) and the late Mary Pucci. Peacefully on Friday October 29th, Gearard Ruddy passed away at the Sault Area Hospital, after suffering a lengthy illness with emphysema.Gearad is survived by his sister Mary(Maurice)Palmer of Winnipeg Manitoba.Also his many nieces and nephews of Winnipeg.he was predeceasedby both his parents, Jack and Mary Ruddy.Also a sister, Alice.Gerard was born and raised in the Sault area, where he lived all his life.Gerard had a love for country music and played the guitar.He was a kind soul and will always be remembered for his unforgettable laugh.Gerard spent the last of his years at Northern Nursing Home, where he was happy and met many friends.Visitation will be held at Arthur Funeral Home between 7-9p.m.on Friday November 5th.Funeral services will follow on Saturday at 10a.m.at Arthur Funeral Home.Special thanks to the staff at Sault Area Hospital, Northern Nursing Home and especially Don Barill.He will be sadly missed by his sister Mary of Winnipeg."Love cannot be forgotten.It lives forever."
