Peacefully at his home on Wednesday, July 7, 2004. Beloved husband of Evelyn and dearly loved father of Gregory (Jennifer). Bill will be sadly missed by his brother, David (Peggy) and his sisters, Mina Kersey (late Hugh) and Mary Keith (late Jack). He is predeceased by his brother, Fred Hutton (Marilyn). Special friend of Diane Foisey. Bill devoted his life to his family and his patients. He accomplished many goals during his life, becoming the chief of OB/GYN of the General Hospital, president of the Cancer Society, Treasurer of the #11 Boy Scout Group (32 years), and Elder at Westminster Presbyterian Church and member of the Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He also started the cancer follow-up clinic with Mona Hogg in the mid 1960’s and achieved the rank of Major in the Canadian Medical Corps. He has delivered over 13, 000 babies during the 46 year span if his career and will be missed by the many lives he touched.
