passed away suddenly on Saturday March 27, 2004 at Cambridge; Derek Byrnes at the age of 25 years. Beloved son of Birgit Byrnes (Steve Sagle) and Terry Byrnes (friend Debbie). Dear brother of; Shannon Byrnes (Mike Pozzebon), Dylan and Daniel Byrnes. Dear uncle of Elliot Michael. Grandson of; Marianne and the late Henry Meister and Doris Mitchell (late Wesley). Nephew of; Shawn Byrnes (Tracy) and Cheryl Byrnes. Cousin of Cody and Brianna Byrnes. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Thursday April 1, 2004 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Bruce McLeish officiating. Grandfather of; Ryan, Jasmine, Maverick, Xander, David, Kaitlin, Nicole, Lindsay and Danielle. Beloved son of Alice and the late Archie Findlay. Brother of; Jim Findlay (Carol), Betty Findlay, Jill Nicholson (Jack) and the late Joe Findlay (Clarinda). Stan will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Dear wife of Kevin Merrigan. Dear daughter of the late Ivan and Margaret Richards. Dear mother of Ann Merrigan of Toronto and Kevin Merrigan (Leslie Smith) of Cobourg. Dear grandmother of Melyssa, Nicholas, Amy, Jesse and Baylee Merrigan. Dear sister of Dianna Parsons (Mel Scott), Jack Richards (Claudette), Barb French (late Henry), Bob Richards (Giselene), Mary Goulet (late Homer), Ivan Richards (Melva), Brenda Parent (Jim), Neil Richards, Karen Richards and the late Ken Richards. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Our beautiful mom, our best friend. passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 26, 2004. She left on her journey with her three daughters at her bedside, Vicki Schryer (Ron), Jamie Grandmont (David) and Jill Pinkus (Mark). Precious grandma to Becky, Gary, Luke, Mark, Alycia, Dallas, Joshua and Amy. Proud and loving great grandma to Sammi, Dante and Kaleb. Daughter of the late Percy and Nancy Bull. Sister of the late Robert Bull (Jo), Adelbert (Al) Bull and the late Della Stone (late Myles). We will celebrate mom’s life from the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Tuesday, March 30, 2004 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Mom’s final journey will take her back home to New Brunswick to lay at rest along side her mom. Memorial contributions to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Clinic would be appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Dr. Jablanczy for his care and home visit, to Dr. Lohar, though we saw him only one time we never forget how kind and gentle he was to our mom, to Mary McLean who made it possible for us to care for our mom at home along with nurses Brenda and Cindy. Our mom was tiny and frail but she was the strongest person we have ever known. We are who we are because we are a reflection of her.

Dear son of David Ek Hua Lee and Elizabeth Eu See Lee. Brother of; Joseph Lee (LuAnne Burnham), Chooi Lee (Mark Palmer) and Yen Lee (Kristina Klausen). Son-in-law of Charles Douglass Fogerty and Ilene Fogerty. Brother-in-law of Jay Fogerty (Jane). Fondly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews here and around the globe and his many colleagues in the medical profession here and across the continent. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved husband and father after a lengthy illness at the Plummer Memorial Hospital (nursing home sight) on Saturday, March 27, 2004 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of 67 years to Genevieve Spears. Dear father of Audrey Spears, Pat Polowy (Len), Sally Raynor (Ken), Shirlene Watts (Jerry) of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Irene Bullerman (Harold) of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Arlene Ziemba (Pat) of Thunder Bay and Norm (Heather) of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Grandfather of Patrick and Terry Polowy, Ron Raynor Jr. (Michelle), the late Donnie (Bev), Terry Gibeau (Garry), Connie Raynor, Steve (Terri), Kim Wyatt (Marty), Mark Bullerman (Penny), Kevin, Stefan (Melinda), Lisa Ziemba, Robert and Spencer Spears. Great grandfather of 15. He retired from Algoma Steel Inc. in 1972 after open heart surgery. Ira was the past president of the RHA for many years and was instrumental with the forming and growth of the RHA. He coached his son Norm for many years and guided many other youngsters through their hockey careers. He was also inducted into the City Hockey Hall of Fame and also continued volunteering with many fundraisers for hockey. Words cannot express our deepest gratitude to each and every nurse on Ira’s floor. You went above and beyond and we will always be grateful to you for making his time comfortable. Thank you.
