December 13, 1937 - September 6, 2005. Loving and cherished wife Barbara (Nichols) (Manitoulin). Proud and loving father of Richard and Betty Nichols (Soo), Bonnie and Morris Hore (Manitoulin), Wendy and Dan Schmidt (Soo), Carol and Danny James (Searchmont), Melody and Murray Hore (Manitoulin), Allison Coulam and friend Merle Idle (Manitoulin) and Ean (Manitoulin). Grandfather of 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Beloved son of Toivo and Ella Hill, predeceased. Loving brother and brother-in-law of Wayne (Jackie), Dianna, Arthur, George (Barbara), Dorothy Hill and Morgan Frolick, all of the Soo. Predeceased by brother Walter and sister Darlene Frolick and son-in-law Arleigh Coulam. Ed was born in Sault Ste. Marie. He married Barbara in January 1958. Ed worked for the City of Sault Ste. Marie and raised horses before moving to Manitoulin Island in 1972, working at a sawmill in Meldrum Bay. He then got a construction job, before moving to Alberta in 1981, moving back to the Manitoulin in 1984. Ed worked construction again before his health deteriorated and he had to retire. He loved spending time with family and friends, playing the harmonicas, farming and gardening.

Sister of Ester Huckson (Alvin), Dorothy Rains (Alan) of Sault Ste. Marie, Judy Oates (late Don) of Wisconsin and the late Arthur Chummy Paulson. She will be missed by many friends and family.

85 years. Friday December 9, 2005 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, St. Joseph Health Center. Beloved husband and best friend for 63 years of Anna (Gaetano) Teolis, predeceased 2003. Loving father of Antonietta Cariati (husband Oreste) of Capreol, Angelina Ricci (husband Alfred predeceased) of Sault Ste. Marie, Alfredo (wife Vitra) of Sudbury and Josie DePratto (husband George) of Sault Ste. Marie. Cherished grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Adelina Gaetano of Italy. Predeceased by his parents Antonio and Rosa Teolis, 5 brothers and 5 sisters. Born in Italy, he married Anna in 1940. Pasquale worked as a section foreman with the Canadian National Railway for over 30 years, retiring in 1982. Pasquale enjoyed gardening, he worked hard and was very proud of his family. Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home, Hanmer Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Dr., Hanmer. Funeral mass in Our Lady of Peace Church, Capreol, Monday, December 12, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Capreol Cemetery. Beloved husband of Reta (Yukich). Cherished father of Terry of Bermuda, Cindy, Wendy Nichols (Steve), Barry (Valda) and Larry of South Carolina. Grandfather of Christina, Justin, Brandon, Sasha and Joey. Great grandfather of Arielle. Brother of Wilfred (Lois), Rita Allen (late Angus), Agnes Haggerty and pre-deceased by Gibb (late Evelyn), Winston (Mary), and Doreen Carroll (late Dan). Brother-in-law of Rose Wysynski (late Alec), Antoinette Chikoski and pre-deceased by John Yukich (Mary), George Yukich, Edward Yukich (Shelby) and Ann Zeppa (Speed). The family announces with sorrow the death of Rita Farrell of North Bay at the age of 84. Rita passed away peacefully with loving family at her side, Saturday, December 10, 2005. Daughter of the late Josephine and Maurice Farrell. She was also predeceased by her brother, Father Francis Farrell sj. She is survived by her sisters - Sister Mary Farrell CND of Toronto, Rose Hefferman (Burt - deceased), Margaret Cainen (Larry - deceased) of Dartmouth, N.S., Bernadette Farrell of Montreal, Maureen Farrell of Sault Ste. Marie and her brothers, Dr. Patrick Farrell (Barbara), Monsignor Raymond Farrell and Dr. Maurice Farrell (Virginia) all of Sudbury. She will be dearly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
