passed away at the Sudbury Memorial Hospital, Thursday, December 8, 2005 at the age of 60. Remembered and missed by his wife Sheila Sheedy. Dear son of the late Felix and Evelyn Sheedy. Dear father of Andrew Sheedy (Meredith) of Cache Bay, Christopher Sheedy (fiancé Marsha) of Calgary, Alberta, and Lisa Mallette (Ron) of Blind River. Dear grandfather of Kyle and Madison Sheedy and William Mallette. Dear brother of Audrey Sheedy of Toronto, Iris Mitchel (Bob) of Nobel, Mary Provencher (Henry) of Blind River, Richard Sheedy (Noreen) of New Liskeard, Patricia McCarthy (Peter) and glen Sheedy (Ellie) both of Orillia and Garry Sheedy of Vancouver. Dear uncle of Karen Tattray, Bretby Mitchell, Robert Mitchell, Jo Anne Haramis, Marc Provencher, Peter Provencher, Christine Provencher, Yvonneb Falconer, Jocelyn Gresham, Alana McCarthy, Shawn McCarthy, Lori Poirier, Karen Sheedy, Jason Sheedy, Aaron Sheedy, Ben Sheedy, Heather Sheedy, Matthieu Young and Katherine Young. Ted was a special friend to many. Ted loved hunting, fishing, OGM camp, Legionnaire, the Kingfishers, his store Woodward Hardware, picking berries, the 696 Air cadet Squadron and shuffleboard. Friends may call at the Lets We Forget Hall in Blind River Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. from St. James the Greater Church in Blind River with Father Jim Ketzler officiating. Interment in Hillside Cemetery. Special thanks to Staff of the Blind River District Health Centre and Sudbury Memorial Hospital and also to Dr. Mary Shamas and Dr. Hortovenko and Dr. Sauve for their care and compassion. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation and the Golden Birches Residence Council would be greatly appreciated. (Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home, Blind River).

Cherished grandmother of Marlie Smith (Denise), Sheri Lyn Gagné (Christian), Shene Smith (Cindy), Vonda O’Donnell (Ken), Karen Mattiussi (Ron), Wendy VanBridger (Ed), Robert Hope (Helen), Tammy Barrett (Kelly), Donald Bennett, Debbie Running (Lloyd) and Sandra Caswell (Tom). Great grandmother of 22 and great great grandmother of 3. Dear sister of Elsie Johns (Ken) and the late Zella Barnes (late Doug). Predeceased by sister-in-law Donelda Clayton (late Joe). April 24, 1915 – March 24, 2005. Peacefully at the Van Daele Manor Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Erdman. Survived by her children Lois Odber (Roy), Ronald, Pat Innocente (Jock), John (Susan), Beverly Jefferies (Mike) and Dorothy Lauzon. Predeceased by her son Thomas Running (Helen) and Gary Erdman. Mary was dearly loved by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her brother Leslie Running (Betty). Predeceased by her brothers Robert, Ervel, John, George and Jim and her sisters Flossie Parr, Ethel Hallam, Helen Prescott and Verna McGill. She was a loyal wife and loving mother that always put her family before herself. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Much loved father of Brian (Linda), Bruce (Virginia), and Brent (Andrea). Cherished grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of 5. Dear son of the late William and Ada (nee Edge). Predeceased by his siblings Agnes McMeeken (Vance), Richard Baber (Wilma), Maime Milne (Court), William Baber (Norma) and Nora Healy (Bert). Brother-in-law of Greta Nivens (late Harvey), late James Cushley (late Carmel), late Bernard Cushley (late Lillian), late Albert Cushley (late Ann), late Jack Cushley (late Mary) and the late Mary McCracken (Tom). Earle will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Devoted grandma of Travis (Christine), Susan O'Connor (Breen), Christopher, Michael, Andrew, Robert, Nicole and Raymond. Very proud great grandma of Charles Quinton Burns (Charlie). Dear sister of Fred, Ken, Jacqueline Fetherston (late Ray) and predeceased by June, Frank and David. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews in Canada and England. Tragically as a result of a train accident while enjoying her Rotary Youth Exchange in Bregenz, Austria, on Saturday, November 25, 2006 on her 18th birthday. Cherished daughter of Stephen and Jannick. Sister of Shelagh. Granddaugther of Freda and Yves LeCoarer and Thora and John Harvey. Niece of Audrey and Bruce Takasaki, Debbie and Paul LeCoarer, Michelle and David Simmonds, Jennifer and Mark Harvey. Cousin of Jenn, Danny, Adam, Ryan, Helen, Johnny, Erica, Jeremy, Cameron and Matthew. Kathryn will be fondly remembered by her Korah, Sudbury YMCA and Rotary friends and her host family Walter, Barbara, Iain, Judith and Hannes in Bregenz, Austria. A celebration of Kathryn’s life will take place at Korah Collegiate and Vocational School, 636 Goulais Avenue, on Friday, December 1, 2006 at 4:00 pm, followed by a reception in the school cafeteria. Memorial contributions to Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury YMCA or Korah Collegiate Scholarship Fund would be appreciated by the family. Bestest Poppa of Rachel, Matthew and Sarah Silva; Kassandra and Chelsea Thibault; Brandon, Bradley and Katrinka Hornby. Brother of Marg MacKay (Mel), Frances Hornby, Richard Hornby (Denise), the late David (late Maureen) and the late Christopher. Step-son of the Rev. Muriel Hornby. Son of the late Rev. Norman and Edith Hornby. Brother-in-law to Janet Fleming (Reg). Funny and fun loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Pat was a true friend to many and put his heart into everything he set his mind to. His camp and beautiful garden (the best corn on St. Joe’s Island) were his passions.
