passed away after a courageous battle on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at the age of 65. Loving father of Andrew, Shelley, Ernie Jr. (Amanda), CC, Rose, Margaret (Luke), Cathy (Dave) and Sam. Papa of 34 grandchildren. Sadly missed by 3 surviving sisters and two step-sisters. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, January 13, 2005 from 6-9 pm. Funeral service from the chapel on Friday, January 14, 2005 at 11 am. Rev. Canon Earl Burke officiating. Memorial contributions to the SAH Cancer Clinic would be appreciated.

Peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, with his family by his side on Sunday, January 9, 2005, in his 81st year. Beloved husband for 50 years to Phyllis Dubblestein. Loving father of Laura Dubblestein, Linda Dubblestein (Ken), Debbie Therrien (Jeff) and Mona Cicchello (Ugo). Proud Papa of Mark, Max and Stephanie. Elmer is survived by his brother Basil Dubblestein. Elmer will be greatly missed by his pet pug “Archie”. A memorial service will be held in Centreview, Ontario in the spring. Memorial contributions to the Sault Ste. Marie Search & Rescue would be appreciated. (Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 759-2522).

Loving mother of Kim King of Grand Prairie, Alberta, Ken King (Allison) of Calgary, Alberta and Kevin King (Kim) of Sault Ste. Marie. Proud Grandma and Pa of Amanda, Shyanne, Jennifer, Keith and Kassandra. Dear sister of Joyce West, Allan Moore (Audrey), Arlene Paquette (late Terry), Lynne Moore and predeceased by Colleen, Jacqueline, Ruth and Lois. Carol will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, January 14, 2005 at 3 pm. Rev. Darryl Price officiating. Memorial contributions to the SAH Oncology Unit or the Elks Oncology Van would be appreciated.

With her family by her side, passed away gracefully into the hands of God and his angels on January 12, 2005. Mrs. Brennan of Blind River is survived by her loving husband Michael; her children Cathy (Tony McWade), Michael, Eilish (Robert Tremblay), Maura, Sean (Johanne Lafrancois), Eamonn (Brenda Ritchie), Dermot, and Patrick (Tara Bannon). Also survived by 16 grandchildren: Liam, Jacqueline, Marion, Bridget, Kathleen, Sean, Gavin, Carl, Amanda, Tristan, Josephine, Caolon, Kenneth, Bernadette, Eilish and Maddox; and one great grandchild Aidan. Sister of Maureen (Begley), the late Lawrence, the late Eamon and the late Florence (Hopkins). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, January 14, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James the Greater Parish Church, Blind River, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Daffodil Centre and/ or The House of Kin. Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home, Blind River.

A very loving Nana to Brian Watkins (Laurie), Susan St. Jules (Jim), Kevin Watkins (Belinda), Brenda Holley (John), Patricia, Larry and Peggy Bouchard, Greg Yakich (Jocelyn), Becky Strauss (Brian), Holly Kajnar (Tony), Ron Bolduc (Marilyn), Wendy Kulak (Lorne), the late Jill Roy (Jules), Barry Watkins, Lynn Watkins, Danny Watkins (Karen), Penny Clarke (Kevin) and Michael Watkins. Great and great great grandmother of many. Sister of Susan Samworth (late Percy), Charles Reynolds (Phyllis), late Agnes and Jack Haslam, late Bob and Iris Reynolds of England, late Ron Reynolds (Myra) of Scotland, late Joseph and Violet Reynolds of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
