Longtime resident of Sault Ste. Marie, passed away peacefully in Manning, AB on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at the age of 88. Wife of the late Ted Armstrong, she is survived by her son, Michael (Sue) of Sudbury and daughter, Janice (Ron) of Manning, AB., their families and her extended family in the Sault Ste. Marie area. In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral service was held on Friday, November 25, 2005. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 759-2522.

Peacefully on Thursday November 24, 2005 at Waterloo, Ontario. Carl Spencer Guffin in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Winnifred. Dear father of Carol Mauro (Larry) and Dianne Quinn (Brian). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Paul, Derek and Joel (Kelly) Mauro, Kimberly Leis (Bob), Scott (Amy), Greg and Melissa Noack and his great grandchildren Hanna Leis and Megan Mauro. At Carl's request, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Tuesday November 29, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. A time of fellowship and refreshment will then follow at the Northwood Funeral Home. Memorial donations made to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully at the Northridge Long Term Care in Oakville on Monday, November 21, 2005 at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Bruce McKinnon. Loving mother of Wendy Belcher of Oakville, Ontairo; Bruce (Lorna) of Calgary, Alberta and special "mom" to Betty. Predeceased by her brother Ted and sister Mona. Cherished nana of Robert Belcher (Rachael) of Oakville and Chad Belcher (Elaine) of Brampton. Great grandmother of Bethany, Curtis, Geoffrey and Hayden. Auntie Vie was very special and will be missed by all those who knew her. passed away suddenly on November 21, 2005 in London, Ontario at the age of 43. Son of Fred and Judy Pruce. Predeceased by sister Debbie (in infancy). Grandson of the late Stephen and Mary Ruth Pruce and Irene and the late Howard Stevens. Beloved partner of Sherrie Ann Vlemmix. Nephew and special son to Eddie and Rae Pruce. Dearly loved big brother to Laura Couturier (Dennis) and Ted Pruce. Uncle Daryl to Jordan and Joshua Couturier. Remembered by aunts, uncles and cousins. Cremation took place in London on November 23, 2005. Family memorial service to take place in Sault Ste. Marie at a future date. Memorial contributions to the Salvation Army or charity of your choice would be appreciated. Precious boy, with the sunny smile and gentle soul, we will always remember your laughter. Cherished grandfather of Nicole, Chantalle, Christine, Amanda, Silvia, Donny, Kevin, Crystal, Amber, Merik, Liam, Kyle and Annika. Dear brother of George (Pierrette), Flore (Marc), Henriette (Gerald & Danielle), Diane (Paul) and Jocelyne (Bob). Predeceased by his brothers, Guy, Raoul, Gilles and Robert. Brother-in-law of Rita and Claire (Danny). Son of the late Henri and Florence. Also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law of the Lalonde family. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and special friends, Cliff and Mary Lou Bye and Robert Cloutier. Carol will be sadly missed by her son-in-law Sheldon Rathwell (Shelley). Proud gramma of Pam (Jared), Alecia (Brad), Alaina, Chad (Sherri), Shasta, Steven, Mark, David, Mathew, Michael, Brad, Greg, Tracy, Jeff (Nancy), Shelbie, Katie, Nick, Alex, Mike, Mikayla and the late Lisa and Melissa. Great grandmother of Emma, Ryan, Isabella and Grace. Carol was predeceased by her parents Jack and Emily Fretz. Survived by her mother-in-law Annabelle Harten. Dear sister of John Fretz. He leaves to mourn, his children, Bob McIntyre, Vickie Sammon and her husband Pat, Theresa Meincke, Jackie McIntyre and her husband Harvey King. Loved grandfather of Krista and Bobby McIntyre, Stephanie and Jamie Sammon, Kelly and Karly Meincke, Calvin Lamming and Brandon King. Long time special friend of Kitty Lewis, Stevie Fawcett Jr. and extended family. Much loved brother of Gladys McIntyre, Isabelle Wickett (late Ken), Phebie Dodd, Albert McIntyre, Pearl Tucci (Nick), Jean Lane (Bruce) and Donna Higgins (Doug). Predeceased by brothers Donald McIntyre and Jack McIntyre (Linda) and his sister Florence Hiramatsu. Precious uncle to many nieces and nephews. Loving mother of Angela Harten (Bruce), Sault Ste. Marie, Shannon Brown (Craig), Toronto, Kristen Piner, Ottawa. Dear grandmother of Braidy Harten (Andréa), Iron Bridge, Brooke Harten (Darren), Taipai, Taiwan, Holly Harten, Sault Ste. Marie, David Aidan Brown and Victor Ryan Brown, Toronto. Greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Vern and Vimy Jourdin. Connie was involved for many years with the Sweet Adelines, the Maycourt Club, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the Eastern Star. She was retired from the London Free Press. At Connie's request there will be no funeral service. Cremation performed in London. Those who wish to make memorial contributions to the Sault Ste. Marie Human Society would be appreciated. Celebration of her life with family and friends will be at the Ontario Suite, Holiday Inn, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. November 26, 2005. Please join us in memory of Connie.
