Surrounded by his family, a very special person passed away on Wednesday March 14, 2007 at the age of 76. Loving and devoted father of Shauna Hojem (Scott), Jodi Wilson (Dave) and Kisha Beltrano (Steven). Cherished grandfather of Mathew (RaeLyn), Brandon, Cody, Korsyn and Helena. Dear great grandfather of Hunter. We would like to thank our Mom (Judy) for taking care of our Dad for the last few years. Words cannot express our gratitude for the wonderful care provided by Dr. Maloney, Dr. Mathew and the nurses on the Critical Care Floor at the General Hospital. We are also grateful for his lifelong friends from the west-end who we know were very special to him. There will be no memorial service at Franks request. Memorial donations made to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Beloved father of Lorrie, Lisa and Michael. Son of the late William and Alice Scott. Son-in-law of Patricia Greco (late Arthur). Dear brother of Anne Greco (John), Wilma Lacasse (late Jerry) and Janice Kelly (Tom). Brother-in-law of Ted Greco (Marcia), Richard Greco (Jackie), Raymond Greco (Suzanne) and Robert Greco (Linda). Uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Friends may call at O'Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home, corner of Cathcart and St James Sts on Saturday March 17th, from 9:30 to 10:30am. Funeral mass at Precious Blood Cathedral on Saturday March 17, 2007 at 11am. with Monsignor B.J.Burns officiating. Internment at Holy Sepulchre Columbarium. Special thanks to Dr. Berry, Shirley and staff in the Renal Unit, and nursing staff on Complex Care, you have all been our knights in shining armour. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family after a long and lengthy battle on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Louise (nee Marrelli) for 54 years. Devoted father of Rose Rizzo (Tony), Sam Gioia (Eby) and Julia Bitonti (Tony). Cherished Nono of Frank Rizzo (Jennifer), Paul Rizzo, Cesare Gioia Jr., Mark and Nicole Bitonti. Son of the late Gaetano and Rosina Gioia. Son-in-law of the late Eugenio and Julia Marrelli. Brother of the late Santino (Maria), late Silvio (Frances), late Ada Gardi (Frank) and Maria Policicchio (Gino). Brother-in-law of the late Angelina Suriano (Albert), late Jimmy and Sonny Marrelli. Cesare will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Friday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Jerome Church on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Hamish Currie officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund or St. Jerome's Parish Memorial Fund would be appreciated. The family would like to thank Dr. Lohar, Dr. Spadafora and Dr. Maione, as well as acknowledge and thank Cesare's Nurse Practitioner Brenda and all the wonderful, caring nurses of the Palliative Care Unit at the Plummer Hospital. An extra special thank you to Dr. Susan Febbraro, who cared for Cesare in his final days.
So goodbye dear husband, father, grandpa we pass you to heaven above, you're now at peace, we feel assured and on earth, you're forever loved.

Predeceased by his brothers James and Ed. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Survived by his surrogate family Becky & Keith Martin and family, Lou & Sue, Larissa & Jenna Carlucci and Patty & Mike MacDonald and family. Also survived by numerous caring friends and cousins. At Gerald’s request a private visitation and funeral service was held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Donations to the Gideon Bible Society or SAH Cancer Care Fund.

Beloved daughter of the late Theresa and Marcel Parent and dear sister of Luc Parent (Karen) of Kelowna B.C. and the late Jacques Parent (Leslie Ann). Florence is also survived by five nephews and nieces. Friends are invited to a celebration of Florences life Friday March 16, 2007 at O'Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home, corner of Cathcart and St James Sts from 7pm until the time of memorial service at 8:30pm with Msgr. B.J. Burns officiating. Cremation has taken place and internment will be made in the family plot in Wawa at a later date.
