On Monday, February 26, 2007 at the Plummer Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family after a courageous four year battle with cancer, in her 79th year. She has gone to be with the Lord. Beloved wife for 57 years of Toimi. Loving mother of Sinikka McCormack (John), Hilkka Zufelt (Jack), Sirpa Thibodeau (Barry), Seija Hyrsky (Bill). Dearest grandmother of Leila (Kevin), Andrew (Karrie), Chris, Aliisa, Trisha (Mike), Ashleigh (Shawn), Danica and Ryan. Great grandmother of Haley, Ella, Grace, Ava, Mia and Audrey. Predeceased by her parents Eliina and Jalmari Valimaki, five brothers and one sister in Finland. Survived by brother Paavo Valimaki (Helle) and sister Annikki Luoma and their families and friends in Finland. Dear aunt of Reima Riippi (Lisa and son Dylan). Special friend of many in the Sault. God opened his arms to Alfred Joseph LeClaire on Friday, March 2, 2007. He passed away at home surrounded by his loving family in his 81st year. Loving husband for 60 years to Lorraine. Devoted father of Darlene Belsito (Alfred), Marcia Gillespie (Pat) (Hallaert), Wendell LeClaire (Judy), Lynn LeClaire, Randy LeClaire, Cindy Leishman, Cathy Waite, Patsy Garson, Jamie LeClaire (Lisa), Colleen LeClaire (Garry), Kim Vachon (Jim), Brent LeClaire (Lori) and Brian LeClaire (Nicole). Loving grandfather of 35, great grandfather of 23 and great great grandfather of 1. He will be sadly missed by all who loved and knew him. His love for his family will be with us forever.
