Peacaefully at Algoma Manor, Thessalon on Tuesday July 22, 2008. Matt Falls in his 88th year, beloved husband of Maude Falls (Van Every) of Algoma Manor. Loving father of Ken (Sylvia) of Fort McMurray Alberta, Velma Hare (Calvin) of Thessalon, Karen Easton (Robert) of Peterborough, Aubrey ( Susan Barber) and Les Becker both of Sault Ste. Marie. Special grandfather to Lindsay Mullen (Kelly), Rick Falls, Lisa Brule (Larry), Chirstopher Hare and Kyla Becker and great grandfather to Emma, Avery and Maya. Dear brother of Jim Falls (Edith) of Sudbury and the late Arden (late Vera), Marvin (late Ina and late Marg), Lynn Whatmough (late Howard), Ivan (late Judy) and Andy (Marjorie). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon where friends may call on Thursday July 24, 2008 from 2-4pm and 7:15 to 9pm. Funeral service at the Thessalon Bible Chapel on Friday July 25, 2008 at 11 o’clock with The Reverend Dr John Porter officiating. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery. Donations to the Algoma Manor Redevelopment Fund gratefully accepted. Members of the Masonic Order are requested to assemble at the Funeral Home on Thu rsday at 7pm for a memorial service for their late Worshipful Brother Matt Falls.

passed away at the F. J. Davey Home on Sunday, July 20, 2008 in his 97th year with Gail, John, Giselle and dedicated Nursing Staff at this bedside. Beloved husband of the late Isabel. Dear father of Gail Gray (John), Heather Moreau and the late Ronald Jagoe. Dearly loved by his grandchildren Stephanie Morgan (Rick), Russell Gray (Catherine) and his great grandchildren Brenna and Garreth Morgan. Son of the late Edward and Laura Jagoe. Last surviving brother of all his siblings. John will be always remembered by his very special friend and card partner, son-in-law John Gray, and brother-in-law William T. Allen. Uncle of several nieces and nephews. If so desired, memorial donations to A.R.C.H. would be appreciated by the family. The family wishes to express our sincerest appreciation to Giselle Verdecchia, Dad's dedicated hospice volunteer and friend who was with him to the end and also to George and Ellen Thompson's daughters. We will be forever grateful to the nursing staff and care givers on Birch Lane III for the wonderful care and compassion shown to John and his famly. You are all beyond perfection. John was a veteran of World War II Naval Services. Cremation has taken place, interment will follow in New Brunswick. passed away after a valiant battle with lung cancer on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of Earlinne (Brown) for 62 years. Dear father of Phil, Patti Bowen (Lee), Doug (Elaine), Don (Sylvia) and Lori Smeltzer (Dave). Dearest 'Pop' of Andy, Adam, Jason, Jody, Mark, David and Michelle McMaster, Jeff Bowen, Chris and Chad Smeltzer and the late Bradley Bowen and Jimmy McMaster. Great grandfather of many. Special 'Poppy' of Andrew, Jaden and Randi-Lynn. 'Mr. Pat' to many others. Son of the late Hugh and Doris McMaster. Dear brother of Shelvia Sides, the late Ted, Harry, Walter McMaster and Eva Vanderburg. Brother-in-law of Relda Pitt (Bud) and Louise Brown (late Don). He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and all of his friends and neighbours. Pat was a World War II veteran and served in Italy and was severely wounded in Sicily. He was an electrician by trade but worked as a crane operator at Algoma Steel for 30 years. He was also an avid fisherman and gardener. At Pat's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations would be greatly appreciated by the family to the Group Health Centre or A.R.C.H. (Hospice). Cremation. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. Hackett and Dr. Beuhner and also Jen and Leo from Bayshore for all of their special care of Pat during his illness. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 20, 2008 at the Extendicare Van Daele in his 92nd year. Born in Simbario Catenzaro Italy, he came to Sault Ste. Marie in 1954 where he was employed by the City of Sault Ste. Marie for 27 years. Predeceased in 2001 by his loving wife of 65 years Orsola. Loving father of Tino (Rose), Maria Giuliano (Antonio), Nick (Cheryl), Brunina Lombardo (Vincenzo) and Gina Costa (Charlie). Cherished grandfather to Teresa, Nick and Danny Scopacasa, Cathy, Orsalina, Domenic, Bruno and Laura Giuliano, Steven, Rhonda and Mark McQueen, Domenic Scopacasa, Domenic and Maria Rosa Lomardo, Carlos and Christina Costa. Special great grandfather of 20. Predeceased by his parents Agostino and Rosa Scopacasa, his brother the late Bruno (Immacolata) and his sister the late Rosina Daniel (late Giuseppe). Brother-in-law of the late Vitoantonio Romano, the late Luigi Romano, Nicolina Romano (Francesco), Francesco Romano (late Caterina), the late Lisa Lombardo (late Francesco), Salvatore Romano (Concetta) and Bruno Romano. Domenico will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
