passed away on October 1, 2006 in his 69th year. A loving and devoted brother of George, Michael, Joseph, Bernadette and Anne Marie, predeceased by his brother Norman and sisters Mary and Patricia. Tenderly remembered by his many nieces and nephews . Predeceased by his parents Michael and Sarah Campbell. Born in Sterling, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and a Toronto resident. Hugh was a brilliant mathematician with a passion for astronomy, reading, teaching, boating and nature who was always caring and supportive. Previously employed Metro Toronto Roads and Traffic and Spar Aerospace. The family extends its sincere gratitude to the staff of Toronto East General Hospital, neighbours and parishioners of Corpus Christi. Family and friends will be received at SHERRIN FUNERAL HOME, 873 Kingston Road (West of Victoria Park Ave.) Toronto (416-698-2861) on Tuesday October 3, 2006 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church (16 Lockwood Rd.) on Wednesday October 4, 2006 at 10 a.m. Cremation with interment at Holy Cross Catholic cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Corpus Christi Restoration Fund or to the Hospital for Sick Children would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Sparkman: Elizabeth Emily: Suddenly at her residence, with her beloved husband Curtis, by her side, on October 1, 2006, in her 39th year. Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Catherine Robertshaw. Much loved sister of Catherine Atkins, and Carol Robertshaw and predeceased by her brother William Robertshaw. Cherished daughter-in-law to Kenneth and Darlene Sparkman and sister-in -law to Tammy and Joe Boyce and Ken Sparkman. Special aunt to Gidget, Brenda, Jojo and Nicole. Elizabeth was a Foster Parent careing for and providing love to many children over many years. She will be forever in the hearts of her many relatives and friends. Friends will be received at the SHERRIN FUNERAL HOME, 873 Kingston Road (west of Victoria Park Ave.) Toronto (416-698-2861) on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 from 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 PM. A Legion Ladies Auxillary Service will be held on Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM. A memorial service celebrating Elizabeth's life will be held at St. John 's (Norway) Anglican Church, 370 Woodbine Avenue (at Kingston Road) on Thursday, October 5, 2006 at 2:00 PM. Interment to follow within the church cemetery followed by reception at Legion Branch 1/42 Baron Byng Beaches. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation or Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada, would be greatly appreciated by the family.

In her 81st year died peacefully at Toronto East General Hospital on October 8, 2006. She was born on June 4, 1926 in Tramping Lake, Saskatchewan. Betty is re-united with her husband of 56 years, Peter. She is greatly missed by her children, Georgina and Bob Chapman, Dave and Patti Farrell, Sue and Dave Robertson, Eilleen and Paul Lunau, Bonnie and Mike Thome, Tom and Maureen Farrell and Cathy and Jim Hartford. She will never be forgotten by her grandchildren Stephen, Kelly, David, Mike and his wife Kristen, Shaun, Jenny, Emily, Daniel, Chris, Peter, Shannon, Luke, Jeff, Elizabeth, Lauren, Patrick, Kevin, Tom and Katie. She is survived by her sisters, Georgina and Scholastica of the Ursulines of Prelate and her brother George of Sault Ste. Marie and many nieces and nephews. Betty is also survived by her brother in law Frank and his wife Roseanna, sisters in law Margie, Helen, Theresa and Rita. She is predeceased by her parents George and Mary Jahner, brothers John and Andrew and sisters Margaret, Frances, Fran, Millie and Richardia. Many thanks to the staff of the Respiratory Unit (H7) for thier special care of Betty in the past two years. Anne in her 84th year passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, October 11, 2006. Predeceased by her husband Steve. Much loved mother of Patricia and Penny and her husband Brian and mother of Lenore. Predeceased by brothers Peter, William and John and sister Len. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Anne was born on November 3, 1922 in Portage la Prairie, Man where she grew up. During the war years, Anne and her brother, John came to Toronto for the summers to work with their sister, Len and husband, Paul at the Wayside Inn on Centre Island. Anne then worked in a munitions factory in the Toronto area before attending business school in Fort Erie. There she married Steve Tanchuk in 1946 and they returned to Portage to start their family. They lived in Churchill, Man for about five years before returning to Portage. After Anne was widowed in 1998, she moved to Toronto to be closer to her girls. She loved the challenge of the daily crossword in the Star and the Daily Graphic. She was a fan and follower of Coronation Street and the Y and the R. Anne was an avid reader and also a wonderful cook. Anne's faith and sense of humour brought her through many difficult times.
A funeral mass will be held at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church in Portage la Prairie on Tuesday October 17, 2006 at 1 p.m., after which Anne will be laid to rest in Hillside cemetery , Portage la Prairie. If desired, memorial contributions in Anne's name may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society or the Arthritis Society. Peacefully, in her sleep, at her home, on Sunday October 8, 2006. Eva, beloved mother of Lars and his wife Sherri, and grandmother of Meeghan. Eva will be missed by her sisters, Susanne, Marianne, brother Lars and her friends Yogi and Arthur.
A celebration of Eva's life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
