Mr. William Bill Spiker
April 6, 1922 - September 14, 2007

Spiker, William Norris "Bill", passed away peacefully at the Villa Care Centre on Friday, September 14th with his family by his side in his 86th year. Retired owner of Spiker's Barber Shop and Veteran of WWII RCAF. Loving husband of Joyce Spiker. Caring father of Jane Robitaille, Bill (Nancy) Spiker, Paul Spiker and Nancy (David) Desroches. Brother of Charles (Wanda) Spiker, Morley Spiker and the late Albert Spiker. Grandfather of Jerry (Michele) Robitaille, Brianne and Cole Spiker and Matthew and Michelle Desroches. Great grandfather to Roch and Chaz Robitaille. A funeral service was held at the Nicholls Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 18th, 2007. Interment Lakeview Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Mrs. Claire Marie Dupuis
September 28, 1919 - September 14, 2007

Dupuis, Claire Marie, 87 years, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2007 surrounded by her family at Metropolitan Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Oscar (1982). Loving mother of Marce Meloche and husband Court and Bernard and wife Sandra. Precious Mim to Kevin and Cheryl, Gregg and Gina, Lori and Joe, Jodi and Luciano, Kari, Pati and Dan. Loving great mim to Ashley, Dustin, Scott, Nick, Jake, Ryan, Courtney, Daniel, Derek, Chelsea, Garett and Gavin and soon to be baby Cosman. Great great grand mim to Mackenzie and Maddison. Predeceased by her brother Lawrence Lamotte. Godmother to Joe Lamotte and Helen Lanoue.
Claire enjoyed a game of pepper and eucher and had many friends at Wesview Apartments. At Claire's request there will be no visitation or funeral services. An interment has taken place next to her late husband at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Canard. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Claire in the Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held in September 2008. Arrangements entrusted to the James H. Sutton Funeral Home, Amherstburg.

Mrs. Lucia Federico
June 25, 1929 - September 12, 2007

FEDERICO, Lucia (nee DiPierdomenico) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on September 12, 2007 at 78 years of age. Loving wife for 56 years to Corrado. Cherished mother and best friend to Frank & wife Marsha and Elsa & husband Dr. Ted Fifer (Illinois). Beloved Nonna to Joshua, Corey, Theo & Jack. Dear daughter of the late Pasquale & Clementina. Loving sister to Gilda Scipione & her late husband Victor (Michigan), Donato & wife Silvana DiPerdomenico. Dear sister-in-law to the late Tony Federico & wife Betty, Donato & the late Maria Bucci (Toronto). Lucia was always happy when with her family. Her sweet smile will always be remembered.
Visiting at the JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. & Friday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Friday 8:00 p.m. Funeral Saturday, September, 2007 from the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. to St. John the Baptist Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, donations to World Vision would be greatly appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Lucia in the Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 2008. All are welcome. Helen Adele Shanahan (nee McLachlan), 62 Years. Died on September 12, 2007 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus. Beloved wife of Michael. Loving mother of David and his wife Theresa, Jodi Beausoleil and her husband Kevin, Kelly Mowers and her husband Adam, all of Windsor and the late Kevin (1978). Beloved daughter of her late parents: Willard McLachlan (1987) and Adele (nee Owen) McLachlan (1998). Dear Gramma of Payton, Brian, Emma and Tanner. Dear sister of Fred of Windsor, Grant and his wife Jessie of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, the late Tom, Shirley McLachlan, Phyllis Edmunds and her husband Tom, all of Windsor, Gregory and his wife Marty of London, Craig and his wife Tara of Smithville. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Shanahan was a former Pioneer Girls Club Leader in Remington Park. Y.C.W. member, Cub Leader, member of Church of the Atonement, employee of Canada Post with 33 years of service, Canada Post Heritage Club member, former school crossing guard and a previous bowling coach at Super Bowl Lanes. In kindness, memorial donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy. Visiting on Friday 2-5; 7-9 p.m. at the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh . Prayers Friday at 7:30 p.m. Visiting resumes after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Parish of the Atonement until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Mike Graham will be the celebrant. Cremation with interment in Heavenly Rest Cemetery. A tree will be planted in memory of Helen in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. GLORIA RABANG passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 in her 84th year. Dear sister of Herminia, Estrella, Orlino and Jesus. Predeceased by her brother Pepito. Loving mother to Glorian (Allan), Marelyn (Victor), Janel, Lilian (Francis), Rolando (Emmy) and Leah (Ronnie). She will be missed by her grandchildren Rachel, Cheryl, Nicole, Julian, Jordan, Melanie, Melody, Ashley, Kyle and Anthony. Friends will be welcomed at the Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Avenue E. (just west of Warden) on Friday, September 14 from 2-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 15 at Annunciation Church (3 Combermere Drive) at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.

Donna Sulikowski passed away peacefully at the Penetanguishene Hospital on Thursday, September 13, 2007, in her 67th year. Donna Sulikowski of Midland formerly of Toronto. Dear daughter of Jean Sulikowski and the late Ksawery Sulikowski. Beloved sister of Millie Drag of Midland and Stan Sulikowski of Victoria Harbour. Loving aunt of Theresa King, Suzanne Sulikowski, Andy Drag and Michael Sulikowski. Cremation has taken place. A private service will be held at a later date. Predeceased by his late parents: Wardan and Mantoura Sleiman. Loving brother and best friend to Raymond. Also brother to Chabian, Fayze, Sadie, Chafia, Alice, Souad, Zahia, Morina, Marie and predeceased by Theresa. Mr. Sleiman was retired from Fabco. Visiting on Saturday 2-5; 7-9 and Sunday 2-5;7-9 p.m. with parish prayers Sunday 8 p.m. Funeral on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 10 a.m. from Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Avenue, Windsor, then to St. Peter's Maronite Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Msgr. Joseph Salame officiating. Interment in Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
